Tucker Carlson (see below) had a somewhat ebullient segment about the fact that the Canadian truckers represent the rise of the ordinary people, while the response from Canada’s leadership class bespeaks fear and helplessness. I’m sorry to say that I believe Tucker is wrong and that things are getting very dangerous for the truckers. They still have options but, whenever you have to depend on the goodwill of a tyrant, his police state, and his military, things aren’t going well. That’s especially true of Canada because, on May 1, 2020, Canadians gave up their guns.
In some ways, the Canadian truckers have had a huge success. They’ve galvanized freedom-seekers across the Western world with their peaceful convoy and eventual descent on Ottawa, all with the single aim of ending Canada’s exceptionally onerous COVID restrictions. As we now know, because all the conventional wisdom about COVID and vaccines was wrong, every restriction is pointless. They currently serve no other purpose than to maintain the world governments’ unlimited power over the people.
Within Canada, people have supported the truckers in huge numbers and Justin Trudeau, who may well have a genetic legacy of despotism, ran away. For two weeks, the truckers controlled the news, even as the Canadian and American media squawked about the horrors of allegedly “racist” truckers peacefully protesting mandates that were destroying their livelihoods. Everything the media said was a lie, of course.
Through it all, Trudeau refused even to meet with the truckers or to discuss terms—say, a definite end date to all the mandates. Instead, he simply defamed them.
Now, though, aided by Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Trudeau is escalating the war against the truckers, especially because they’ve blocked an essential bridge between Canada and America.

Canadian armed forces are about 98,000 strong including the navy. Mounties are about 30,000. How fast could people peacefully surround any operation to arrest the truckers in mass? If planned properly the Trudeau JBT could be out numbered very quickly.

LOVE TC but I had the same reaction as Widburg last night. The enthusiasm and optimism are wonderful, but the reality is dire.
The government wants to J6 this protest. They also are trying to force the Truckers into violence. That is a terrible dilemma.
I pray that the Truckers have more of a long term organized plan than taking a vote on a bridge.

I think they know any strong-arm tactics will only fuel the movement.
We dont want J6 martyrs sitting in jail for a year. Time to change tactics. Go guerilla. No deliveries to Ontario. No deliveries to any gov entity. Do slow drives in nass. No hard targets for arrest/tow.
It’s foolish to think they blinked just because they didn’t go in at the stroke of midnight. I would assume them to give the truckers a day or two to comply to show they are being “reasonable” and not all eager beaver to crack down.
Do you really think the protestors will go home and forget about it all when the state turns on them?

While most of the media is complicit in the labeling of the truckers as terrorists, independents are broadcasting the truth about the protest.
Someone needs to keep an eye out for the movement of the military or the Mounties, en mass, to remove the trucks and start arresting people. When that happens, and I predict it will, the boots on the ground will have to make a choice on what to do, arrest and subjugate fellow citizens by force, or obey government direction and illegal orders.
If the troops refuse, and side with the truckers, the entire governmental control of the country collapses.
The Dims in the US are watching, and whatever happens there should frighten them to the core. For too long, the Dims in the US have not been servants of the people, but underneath it all, fascists.
It will end badly for them.
I would not go to jail over this. If truckers are forced to leave Ottawa and the bridge they should just park their trucks at home and stop working. Period. Libs are saying that the truckers are causing issues regarding commerce in the city. I say park your truck and stop working. Same effect as being on the border in a group. No product delivered anywhere. Libs are bullies and tyrants.
So Trudeau calls you names and threatens you with all sort of harm to you and your family if you do not comply. If it was me I would go home, park my truck and just quit. No more food deliveries. No more parts deliveries. No more ANY product that is delivered by truck. Trudeau thinks he can threaten you and then DEMANDS you go back to work serving the Canadian people? Can you imagine all the stores and companies that will shut down if they cannot get product? If all trucking stops? Canada will quickly become crippled. What will Trudeau say then? What if all truckers all of a sudden feel “sick” and cannot work. Truckers are not getting paid now anyway. And if they are not in the bridge and city they can get the money from the funding that has been sent for them.
So libs and Trudeau call truckers white supremacists’, racists, nazis and threaten to take away your license and throw you in jail. They destroy your property and take away YOUR stuff, like gas, wood, food and the like. When you decide to not work anymore what will he demand then? He threatens you and then wants you to go back to work on his terms? THAT is slavery. Sounds tyrannical to me.

I think the police will switch sides and join the truckers. Trudeau will be faced with mutiny and will be driven out of office like the Shah of Iran.
The Poles were vastly out manned and had no guns, but they forced the Communists out by full support of the people. Guns can only get you so far when 100% of the masses are revolting. Eventually, even the police and military change sides because they are from the masses, not the elites.
It is not easy, because the people have to unite and be bold. Just saying it can be done, and has been done before.
