I think I first heard the ‘got sucked into it’ when I lived in Hollywood.
In our area, a lot of commercials are white men and black women or white men with biracial kids. Our area is about evenly mixed of white/black/hispanic. I see more overweight white women with black guys when it comes to interracial relationships.

I was just a public TV person in a former life and not got into bigger stuff but good quality productions like PM I would have loved to been in on.
To make an actual living, I moved to IT.
Miss running a camera, rigging lights, and the rest sometimes in a actual production.
When stock footage was worth doing, I could keep some semblance of skills I picked up.
That would make sense but a lot of what corporate America is doing right now doesn’t make sense. I think they want the pc points so bad they will lose money over it.
If you think that is stupid, I just learned yesterday that Netflix is casting a black woman to play the Norse King Haakon Sigurdsson in a show called Vikings Valhalla.
I’m old enough to remember watching the original shows back in the day . Born 1952 . Have been in Japan since 1985 .

Especially white males. And it’s not just TV advertising. It’s the shows, movies, printed media, web pages, signs... EVERYTHING!
The pecking order seem to be mulattos, blacks, white females, and down in the bottom is an occasional white guy... married to a black woman. If a single white guy is shown he’s usually the Stepin Fetchit.
Their goal is to promote:
1 - miscegination (to get rid of the white race)
2 - make blacks look cleaner and smarter than whites
The level of gaslighting we’re being subjected to (or better, subjecting ourselves to) is sky high.
DON’T VOLUNTEER FOR THE GASLIGHTING. TURN THE DAMN THING OFF!
For those of us who know some accurate history, this reminds us of what the Germans did to the Jews.
