Funny thing, there have been various decisions whether Hitler avoided shaking hands with Jesse Owens, only German (and a couple of Finnish) gold medal winners. The IOC reprimanded Hitler, and told him he either shook the hands of all gold medal winners going forward or none. He opted for none, and we know why.

Worse than that, FDR only invited white Olympians to the White House in 1936, completely snubbing all 18 black Americans including Owens. What about that, Whoopie?
