“Asian” is an overly broad term. It pretends to assign the same attributes to all people whose origin is on the Asian continent, a huge land mass that encompasses multiple very different countries and cultures.

Turks, Saudis and Indians are Asian. I don’t like that word being used to replace Orientals. It’s hard to know what the writer means.
