Just confirms that they are busy trying to line up “conservative” Trump alternatives for their slate of GOP presidential primary candidates. They have long done this, but as intended losers to the McCain/Romney/Bush style alternatives. This go-round they know they are going to have to have populist MAGAesque-appearing candidates in there with the plan for one of them to be the ultimate nominee and possible or likely president.
