Regardless of the validity of the article, BMI > 25 is like 90% of the population
Obesity is normally defined as BMI > 30 with comorbidity or >35 without comorbidity.
As reference, to have a BMI < 25, a 5’6” person needs to weigh < 160#, 6’0” < 180# and 6’4” < 200#.

I thought it had to be satire, but it’s apparently very real. If one attendee has high BMI, then maximum gathering is 12. One wonders, do the Rotary Club etc. have to have a scale at their meetings??
