A politician facing such stiff rejection from her own party might try to pretend that tough talk to a colleague might improve her image, but the opposite is true. In that context, a tirade like this — that comes across as both petty and arrogant at the same time — is worse than embarrassing. It’s humiliating, whether Cheney grasps that or not.

Unfortunately politicians can’t cure cancer, esp. moral cancer. To move the country away from the cliff we need a moral uprising, a christian reawakening. Something that won’t and can’t come from Washington DC. DC is the symptom of the problem more than the cause.

We have 30-35 GOP House that side with us, 145 that voted for Liz Cheney.

I agree about not lockstepping. But Liz Cheney is so far off the reservation that she is truly an enemy who must be defeated at all costs. She consistently opposed every aspect of MAGA. She wants open borders, unlimited pointless wars, the neocon agenda in Ukraine, Syria, etc.. you name it. She is a free-traitor globalist vis-a-vis China, she says the election was free and fair.
I agree with Reagan’s dictum that someone who agrees 90% with me is not my enemy. But she is a consistent enemy.

Ultimately there is no political answer, we’re too far gone. That goes for Trump (I will vote for him because he helps to break political things) or the silly mess in DeeCee posing as Republican leadership. The governed have to say no in a loud and clear voice. If politicians follow us, fine. If they don’t, ignore them. That said I wouldn’t vote for Liz Cheney under any circumstances.

I have been saying the same thing for months.
And we have the same ratio problem with the 50 GOP Senators and the 32 GOP Governors.
She knows she is in danger. She’s just trying to set up a gig within the liberal media.
Which is why I’m really not all that excited about the Mid-Terms even if the GOP wins.
