So, after 2 years, and all that has gone on, I finally know someone directly who had passed from Covid.
Didn't know him well, a coworker, and a very nice man. Leaves behind a wife and a college aged daughter.
Over the last 2 years, I have known many people who have gotten sick, some severely but majority, a few days to a few weeks of feeling like crap and back to normal... Some have been hospitalized with severe cases, but all have recovered, though some have been facing very very long recoveries and are still not 100%.
I have before this, indirectly known of people who have passed, none directly, friends of friends, coworkers of friends, etc.
This is the very first person I know, that I can personally say I know this man, and he died of Covid.
I knew it was just a matter of time, before someone I knew would perish from this... law of averages and all. I fully expected it to happen long before now, honestly.
Anyway, this isn't meant to be a political post, just felt like sharing.

There is slightly over 6000 hospitals in the US. Are they all covering up and lying regaring covid? Not just the ceo admin but the board of directors, the medical review boards within, all the doctors and nurses, the billing staff.
Sounds like pure propaganda. If true, there is likely something wrong with the genetics of that family, something similar to how some people die from bee stings. Maybe we should kill all the bees?
Tell me where the flu cases went in the 2020-2021 season if you can.

Genetics?? what about all the husbands and wives both dying of covid especially at a young age.

Great post. Many people on this site are having trouble dealing with reality and are living in denial.
One of my kids friends died of this, they were in their early 20’s and had NO comorbidities.
I know of multiple recent cases and while people got pretty sick they recovered. Probably due to being vaccinated or due to Omnicron being a more mild version. Probably both.

Owned by only a few holding companies. There are not 6,000 independent hospital facilities.
HCA Healthcare, for instance, is $50+ billion in revenue and owns over 185 hospitals and over 2000 clinics.
Unfortunately, I’m up to 6 I’ve known who died, including my Uncle.
I was speaking generically. Not about hospital data.
I much recall the sequence in the film Contagion where it became clear some govt medical honcho had taken action to get his own family out of a quarantine zone before it was declared to be a quarantine zone.
We will never be told everything important until the families of the elite have been secured. Most particularly bad news. I am personally confident there is a great deal more bad news being kept quiet than good news.

Hospitals employee millions of people.
Not a single honest employee is coming up with an email or taped recording telling to the staff to cover up covid stats??

Yep, early on, I knew multiple people who died…including my father. Haven’t had anyone (that I know) die of it.

I tested positive for covid early last month. I had one hell of a time. I literally had to crawl up our steps stopping 2-3 times. My wife put a chair in the shower because I did not have the energy to stand. A month later and I am still fatigued and tire easily but getting better every day.
I am 59 years old and had plenty of flu’s over the years and that was no damn flu.

Yes, but as you observe that cure may be worse than the disease.

Perhaps the best solution, actually the only solution, is to let it run its course with the least possible damage and continue fighting it with whatever we have at our disposal, without making things worse.
What I find deliciously ironic, in a somewhat sick way, is that this infinitesimally tiny, “organism” that’s not even considered a “life form” is beating the smartest, most vaunted life form in the world - us humans.
As I stated I know countless people who have had it... including most of my family... majority were non events, a few were very severe... fortunately up until this gentlemen, none I know directly have died. Some had very very bad cases, one still doesn’t have his breath back and is still walking with a cane, nearly 6 months after being released from the hospital.
I have no delusions about this, its a real disease, and no matter what some folks want to believe, you can be absolutely perfectly healthy and be struck down and killed by this... the idea that ONLY sickly people, or folks with “co morbidities” die from this is as much of a lie as being vaccinated will ensure you won’t.
The problem with this entire thing has been POLITICS has been driving all of this from day one, which is just insanity. Idiots on both sides making utterly ignorant claims and allegations.
These are the facts of this and have been from day one.
1) It’s an airborne virus, YOU WILL BE EXPOSED, NOTHING, and I MEAN NOTHING will stop this.
2) A certain percentage of those exposed, will become infected.
3) A certain percentage of those infected will have bad cases.
4) a certain percentage of those with bad cases will not recover.
5) A certain percentage of those who do not recover will have no known health issues before getting infected.
That’s reality folks... has been from day one, and anyone telling you anything different is LYING to you.
Anyone claiming anything different (Only people with co-morbidities die from this, Only unvaccinated die from this, vaccinated people don’t get it, or don’t spread it, etc). are LYING TO YOU....
Equally lies are the claim, if you have recovered from COVID you can’t catch it again... It’s a virus, that is always evolving, just like all covid/flus. Yes once having it you will have antibodies, so the odds of reinfection being more severe are lower, but it is not remotely true that if you have gotten and recovered from it you cannot get it again, or that if you do you are guaranteed not to die from it... Claims of IMMUNITY because you have it are absolutely lies as well.
Anything else being claimed by ANYONE is politics... period.
My daughter-in-laws grandmother died in the summer from the rona. They put her in the hospital, isolated her with no visitors and started Remdisivir and a drug to calm her down, she was dehydrated is why they put her in the hospital initially. They were wanting to put her on the vent so bad they could taste it and she had a no vent legal document her daughter would not agree to over ride, she followed her moms wishes.
She went in a fairly healthy woman in her late 60’s. With the Remdisivir and no vent it took the hospital nearly three weeks to murder her. She was starved to death. The funeral director I know personally and they knew this woman and said when they picked her up she was an emaciated wreck and unrecognizable. The hospital got all their federal $ except the vent check on her, but she suffered and died alone because of you follow the science ghouls.
Same here. A friend of 35 years was almost certainly killed by the treatment. He was quite healthy.
I also got Delta and am 63 and have plenty of risk factors. I never saw a Dr., however I did get the monoclonal antibody treatment, and had "horse paste" available here at home. I was sick for exactly two days, and then returned to work (I work from home, so no risk to others).
