Who would like to start up another tournament of chart-toppers from the '50s?
I have a whole new format planned.
As always, you can be on a ping list if you are not already!

Sure, I am up for a poll on 1950s music; have many favorites and no one above all else favorite.

Just to add some info: Billboard top 10 of the year (100 songs to start).
Not sure if I can set it all up this weekend but maybe.
Will be using the ping list whenever I start. No one has to be present for every “round” of the poll to play, so you can sign on any time.
Also, does anyone think they can handle 5 polls of ranking 10 in one week?
If I try that, the whole “tournament” can be done in 9 weeks or so. If I have to have fewer years per week, it could go on for 11 12 weeks.

Sorry, didnāt make top 10 on the year. Was #21 but canāt make it to my survey. So your chart will only feature the top 10 for the entire year. "Honky Tonk" made #2 on the Billboard Top 100 as well as the Best Sellers in Stores and Most played in Jukeboxes charts in October, 1956. It made it to the top of the rhythm and blues chart.

Be My Love by Mario Lanza (1951) will probably make the chart, and it might even win the contest.
That's Amore, despite being a favorite Oldie, will probably not. It might have ranked higher if its chart run had not straddled 1953 and 1954.
