Self ImolaTED Cruz Appears with Tucker Carlson in Attempt to Regain Credibility, Fails Miserably
Conservative Treehouse ^ | jan 6 2022 | sundance

The Texas Senator who has been morphing into a wolf like caricature, left himself naked to his enemies yesterday by his own choosing. After proclaiming the J6 protestors were “violent terrorists”, the articulating stutterer must have realized he stood on a political landmine.

Ted Cruz quickly appeared on Fox News with Tucker Carlson in an attempt to regain credibility. It’s interesting that Cruz chose the Tucker Carlson show for the effort, and it’s interesting that Carlson gave him the opportunity. However, the result was predictable. You cannot create authenticity where only inauthenticity exists. If you try, what you end up with is a hole digger that keeps digging. WATCH:

…”The more he spoke of his honor the faster we counted the spoons.”

It would be a very good thing if Ted got primaried & gone.
He is not one of our best, he is a liar, an opportunist and deep in the globalist camp. Goldman Saks come out for him big time & his wife is a mover & shaker in their organization writing the proposal papers to implement the end of nationalism.
We got a lot of losers in the senate but better an obviously venial person, moving like a windsock, identified & primaried than a hyena parading around in an eagle costume.

Cruz has called Trump supporters terrorists on prior occasions last year.

Senator Ted Cruz on Thursday denounced the statement President Trump issued after a mob of his supporters descended on the Capitol building Wednesday, forcing lawmakers to evacuate and unleashing a wave of violence that has resulted in the deaths of five Americans, including one Capitol Police officer.

“The president’s language and rhetoric often goes too far. I think, yesterday in particular, the president’s language and rhetoric crossed the line and it was reckless,” Cruz said in an interview with ABC13 Houston.

“I disagree with it, and I have disagreed with the president’s language and rhetoric for the last four years,” the Texas Republican added. “If you looked to what I have said, you will not find me say the same language or rhetoric.

Republicans should not try to be as bad as Democrats.

It’s interesting that Cruz chose the Tucker Carlson show for the effort, and it’s interesting that Carlson gave him the opportunity.

Not really Sundance...Carlson called Cruz out on his show the night before for his characterization of J6 protesters, Cruz immediately contacted Carlson to explain his comments and Carlson invited him on the following night to do so publicly.

The only 'interesting' aspect about this sequence of events is that it all transpired within 24 hours.

For me, I can tell a lot about a person when I give them a book.

One common reaction: “Oh, this is a great book. I have a copy already but I will find someone I can give this to.”

Another is that of Glenn Beck in 2010 when I was on his show: “I know this book. Do I know this book?” He then proceeded to read all 948 pages over the weekend, called me Tuesday after a Friday show, and apologized for NOT having read it before!

Then there are people who like Ted did just kind of toss it aside. That tells me that they are uninformed about conservative literature (even if they didn’t like it, a normal response would be “Oh, I have this and McDougall’s books and William Bennett’s US History”. Something like that.) Oh well.

DC is its own world. It takes people over.

Usually, you don't see it happening and can't do anything about it. Here you can.

Ted knows where his base is and he will come around when he has to.

The Comments section at the end of the article had this, which I thought was interesting:

“Cruz’s Congressional voting record as measured by Conservative Review in their “Liberty Score” is 82%. He scores 1 percentage point LOWER than Sen. Ben Sasse, who’s been a consistent Never Trumper.”

ummm....No. It's his character flaw, not fixable. He's been very successful in masking for the most part...but things like his running to the border to distribute soccer balls to illegal underage aliens reveal his desire to cater to to leftist sentiments.

I was taken in early and a strong supporter until things like that kept cropping up. Just my opinion...ymmv

What he said was that WE misunderstood what he was saying.
That is NOT an apology. It’s blame shifting.

Ya know what, I like Ted Cruz and support him. That said, He eff’d up big time and if he does not get re-elected, Ted has no one else but himself to blame.

Kinda the way I look at it. If someone comes along and primaries him...well, okie dokie.
