I don’t think Ukraine wants it. Russia wants Eastern Europe as part of its reconstruction of the Soviet Union. Moldova has ties to Romania already, and I don’t think there is a nato push to combine. No need to.
Yes,...you’re probably right. Modova would be more in line with Romania.....
I’m not sure where Putin’s going to stop aside from wanting the land area bridge to continue around the Black Sea which would include the Odessa area and Southern Moldova. Which also would landlock Ukraine pretty much.
However who knows at this juncture - people can only speculate.
