Globalism / Great Reset -

Acting on a proposal of the European Commission, the European Parliament, as expected, voted Thursday to renew the E.U. Digital Covid Certificate for another year. The vote was 453 for, 119 against and 19 abstentions.

You are going to hear more of term “Stakeholder Capitalism “ coming from the WEF and affiliated organizations in the future. Stakeholder Capitalism is communism repackaged, a corporate-government-civic partnerships that enable joint action and achieve collective progress toward a global economy. WEF has created a new and powerful ruling class that is eliminating the middle class and creating a controlled class. These government-corporate partnerships are rendering the vote useless and circumventing Constitutions and laws. This is being seen in the mega corporations espousing woke and climate change activism. Success depends upon ‘compliant’ populations.

Wuhan virus -

A Texas appeals court is dissolving a previous decision that upheld the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate for federal employees. On Monday, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals agreed to request a full court to rehear Feds for Medical Freedom v. Biden, effectively dissolving the court’s April decision.
This means that President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate, which he introduced via Executive Order 14043 in September 2021, will remain blocked as long as the court does not issue a decision otherwise. The court has tentatively calendared the en banc oral arguments for the week of Sept. 12.

Up to 40,000 Army National Guard soldiers across the country — or about 13% of the force — have not yet gotten the mandated COVID-19 vaccine, and as the deadline for shots looms, at least 14,000 of them have flatly refused and could be forced out of the service.
Guard soldiers have until Thursday to get the vaccine. According to data obtained by The Associated Press, between 20% to 30% of the Guard soldiers in six states are not vaccinated, and more than 10% in 43 other states still need shots.

OBSERVATION - Remember, a group of IIRC Airforce members successfully appealed their discharges based on the fact that the approved ‘vaccine’ was not being administered but the Pfizer experimental jab, an action totally contrary to the official DoD directive.
Either way, this is just another method of biden to weaken the military. National Guard has taken the lead on many global combat deployments due to the shortage of regular units and the loss of 13% of that force would severely impaire combat readiness.

One Year After Biden Touted Saving Americans 16 Cents, July 4th Cookouts Cost $10 More

One of the top ten largest vertically integrated chicken producers in the US, supplying a broad range of quality poultry products, announced that it will be shutting down one of its plants in Campbell County, Tennessee.

The US released 6.9 million barrels of crude from its Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) last week (~985,000 b/d). This is a continuation of his 1 million barrels/day plan to drop oil prices.
As Bloomberg’s Javier Blas notes, the latest weekly release has pushed the SPR below the 500 million barrels mark for the first time since 1986…
The releases have had no effect on the price of gasoline.

OBSERVATION - Warnings of drawing the strategic reserve levels have been made since biden made the decision. Remember, his goal is to demolish the country’s oil industry and petroleum economy in exchange for the ‘green’, globalist model. If that means crashing it to the ground from 30,000 feet, then so be it. Worries arise over potential REAL crises the reserve was designed for and we won’t have the reserve to fall back on.

The Dallas Fed’s Manufacturing Survey (in June) plunged to its lowest since May 2020. The survey was expected to rise modestly from -7.3 to -6.5, but plunged to -17.7. New Orders crashed into negative territory and employment weakened significantly. Expectations regarding future manufacturing were notably less optimistic than in May. The future production index remained only slightly positive, retreating from 19.9 to 4.0. The future general business activity index pushed further into negative territory, falling 20 points to -26.0. Other measures of future manufacturing activity also declined, though most remained positive.

The Texas Manufacturing Outlook Survey (TMOS) is a monthly survey of area manufacturers. Firm executives report on how business conditions have changed for a number of indicators, such as production, new orders, employment, prices and company outlook. Respondents are also asked to report on how they perceive broader economic conditions to have changed (general business activity). For all questions, participants are asked whether the indicator has increased, decreased or remained unchanged. Answers cover changes over the previous month and expectations for activity six months into the future. Participants are given the opportunity to submit comments on current issues that may be affecting their business.
About 100 manufacturers regularly participate in TMOS, which began collecting data in mid-2004. Respondents are broadly representative of manufacturing subsectors in the state economy. TMOS questionnaires are electronically transmitted to respondents in the middle of each month, and answers are collected over seven business days.

Survey responses are used to calculate an index for each indicator. Each index is calculated by subtracting the percentage of respondents reporting a decrease from the percentage reporting an increase. When the share of firms reporting an increase exceeds the share of firms reporting a decrease, the index will be greater than zero, suggesting the indicator has increased over the prior month. If the share of firms reporting a decrease exceeds the share reporting an increase, the index will be below zero, suggesting the indicator has decreased over the prior month. An index will be zero when the number of firms reporting an increase is equal to the number of firms reporting a decrease. Indexes are seasonally adjusted as needed.

OBSERVATION - If i understand this correctly, this is a scan of the potential for a recession as it estimates growth or contraction of industries in the near term.

Former President Donald Trump adviser Peter Navarro told Newsmax on Monday that the recent 10% jump in homebuilding could be the “canary in the coal mine” signaling a return to the stagflation of the 1970s. Navarro said the recent report by the National Association of Home Builders that showed a 10.7% gain in sales of new family homes compared to May is more of an indication that homebuyers are trying to lock in interest rates before the full weight of the latest Federal Reserve Board increases take hold.

Contracts to buy U.S. previously owned homes unexpectedly increased in May after declining for six straight months, but higher mortgage rates are cooling demand for housing.
The National Association of Realtors (NAR) said on Monday its Pending Home Sales Index, based on signed contracts, rose 0.7% last month to 99.9, rebounding from a two-year low in April.

OBSERVATION - I’m not an economist, but watching those knowledgeable coming with so many interpretations of the economic trends, the future is very clouded. Currently, stagflation, hyper inflation and degrees of recession / depression are the current forecasted options by these ‘smart’ people. The overall consensus seems to be recession with severity dependent upon the success of the Fed - which has had an abysmally track record on this point. In my view, these opinions continue to focus down on the end of the current FY/start of the next - Sept / Oct time frame, where we will have a better picture of type and degree of economic damage the country will be forced to run thru.

Invasion of Illegals -

The New York Supreme Court on Monday struck down a NYC law allowing noncitizens to vote, handing a victory to the Republican National Committee (RNC) which filed a lawsuit against the law in January. The Court said in its decision that the city has no legal authority to allow illegal immigrants to vote.

46 illegal immigrants out of 100 were found dead in an abandoned 18-wheeler in San Antonio, Texas Monday night. Over a dozen were hospitalized after authorities located them. The find was associated with a human trafficking scheme.

Strategic Activity / Deployments

The U.S. military has steadily built up its presence in Europe in the four months since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. More than 100,000 U.S. troops are in Europe today, compared to around 70,000 around the start of the Russian invasion.
In related, Soldiers w/ 101st AASLT DIV begin their deployment to Europe June 23 out of Fort Campbell Ky.
Elements w/ Strike BCT, Headquarters & Headquarters Battalion & 101st Airborne Division Artillery are being deployed to Europe to support our NATO Allies.

The US military is posting the lowest recruitment numbers in decades, with the army doing worse than all the other service branches. An op-ed on Monday carefully blamed an “antiquated” recruitment system and the recent “woke” ads as the main culprits, proposing an overhaul of both.
Earlier this month, the Pentagon confirmed that the military was 23% behind its recruiting goals for the year. It has gotten so bad that high school graduation requirements are now being waved.

OBSERVATION - The DOD and biden administration push to purge the military of conservative elements (they call domestic terrorists, racists and bigots)and a mind bogglin push to wokeness and other social indoctrination has alienated the dedicated, qualified volunteers that made the military great. Sadly, it is getting to the point that to get better qualified candidates may need a general draft may have to be instituted. This is all deliberate on the part of biden to weaken the country in preparation for the coming global reset.

WAR WATCH - The Battle for Donbas is on - now in its the fourth month of the war .

CURRENT ASSESSMENT - Russia’s capture of Sievierodonetsk puts the battle in eastern Ukraine into a new phase and analysts watching to see if it can maintain the initiative and press on, or pause for a breather.

ALSO - there is a lot of propaganda out there. I’m doing my best to filter that out or put into context. When In doubt I’ve been trying to identify questionable information.

Russian getting hammered in the PR front after missile strikes killed at least 17 at a Ukrainian shopping mall

Russian Personnel Issues -
- An unnamed senior US defense official stated on June 27 that Russian forces are likely running low on senior military leaders and are relying more heavily on retired officers and reserves to replace officer casualties.

Ukraine -

WEATHER FORECAST - Hot and dry over the 10 day forecast period.

24 HOUR ROUND UP -
The biggest news item was the Russian missile strike in Kremenchuk yesterday. Near global condemnation of the strike as terrorism. This attack is just a component of Russia increasing its ‘stratigic’ attacks on civilian targets throughout Ukraine. Kharkiv, Odessa, Kyiv, Lyiv etc are receiving similar, against civilian targets and residential areas.

Kyiv front -
Nothing significant to report

Northern (Chernihv region ) and North Eastern (Konotop - Sumy salient) Fronts -
More Russian artillery fire scattered around the regions. Russian army launched over 150 projectiles into Sumy region today. 1 person killed, another wounded

Eastern (Kharkiv) front -
Russian forces conducted localized but unsuccessful assaults on settlements northwest and southeast of Kharkiv City.

Donetsk Oblast -
Fluid tactical situation. Russians continue to shell and bomb throughout the region. Russia continues to launch attacks through the sector.

Russian forces continue to move to the northwest under the cover of intense artillery barrages. Action is along a line roughly from Lysychansk southwestward towards Bakhmut. Russian ground troops have reportedly reached the southern margin of Lysychansk, securing positions in the southern part of the Lysychansk Oil Refinery but overall haven’t cut supply lines to the city.

Russian forces continue to press their attacks southward out of the Izyum region. However, little gains have been accomplished.

Eastern (Donbas Separatist Region) Front -
Russian pressing Ukraine forces with heavy artillery northwest of Donetsk

Crimea Front -
In southern Ukraine, Russian forces have reportedly intensified their rate of shelling by 150% and may have almost entirely destroyed the settlements in the Davydiv Brid area along the eastern bank of the Inhulets River.
Ukrainian counteroffensives along the Southern Axis continue to force Russian troops to prioritize defensive operations along the line of contact.

Western / Central Ukraine -
Two Russian missiles slammed into a crowded shopping center in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk on Monday, killing at least 15 people and wounding 50, the regional governor said where more than 1,000 people were in the shopping center at the time of the attack.
Ukraine’s air force command said the mall was hit by two long-range Kh-22 (AS-4) missiles fired from Tu-22M3 bombers that flew from Shaykovka airfield in Russia’s Kaluga region.” These are older antiship missiles with a secondary ground attack role.

Russian Ministry of Defense confirms missile strike in Kremenchuk yesterday, claims that it has targeted warehouses with western ammunition, and secondary explosions destroyed “not working mall”
Factcheck: mall was opened

Russian Territory -
Big explosion reported at Sevsky district of Bryansk region, near Chemlyzh village overnight.

Partisian Resistance -
Ukraine is working to establish a central command and control system to coordinate partisan resistance throughout all Russian occupied territory.

OUTLOOK - Battles in eastern Ukraine continue to be vicious and fluid.

BLUF - Russia continues to maintain the initiative and tempo in eastern Ukraine, now focusing on Lysychansk. Russia appears to have come up with a tactic of massive artillery to allow Russian troops to advance into Ukraine defensive positions.

Russia continues to use older, less accurate missile systems, many in their secondary roles, to strike military and civilian targets in Ukraine. This was noted months ago and some believed indicated Russia was running out of precision systems. Similar concerns about the availability of conventional artillery munitions - especially as they have been expending copious amounts to gain the advantage in eastern Ukraine. They have resorted to pulling from Belarus reserves. Ukraine has had success lately hitting Russian munitions dumps, contributing to the shortages. However, analysts have been saying shortages for a couple months now and what we’ve seen have been increases in munition expenditures. The barrel has got to be getting empty pretty soon a the rate Russia has been using it up - just when is the big question.

Belarus -

Russian announced that they will be providing nuclear capable missile systems to Belarus in the near future.

Belarus has been sending substantial amounts of ammunition to Russian operations from its war reserves.

Europe / NATO General -
.
Stoltenberg announced at a Monday press briefing that NATO is drastically beefing up its high-readiness forces to “well over 300,000.” This would be up from current levels of 40,000 total, or a whopping 650% boost. The large increase is expected to be taken up and approved at this week’s summit, at a moment there’s been urgent calls in the alliance for beefing up NATO bases in Eastern Europe and the Baltics aimed at deterring further Russian aggression.

OBSERVATION - This can be considered to be an almost precursor to war.

Israel -

Israel’s Israeli coalition and the opposition agreed the Knesset will dissolved by midnight on Wednesday

Syria -

The United States carried out a strike in Syria’s Idlib province on Monday that targeted a senior leader of an al-Qaeda-aligned militant group, the US military said. The strikes targeted Abu Hamzah al Yemeni, a “senior leader” of al Qaeda-aligned Hurras al-Din, while he was traveling alone on a motorcycle, the US military statement said.

Alliances are shifting in Syria as Iran and Turkey try taking advantage of fewer Russian forces (because of the war in Ukraine). Turkey wants an opportunity to invade northern Syria, destroy the Kurdish SDF. In the south, Iran/Hezbollah is trying to leverage Assad in a similar manner, gaining control over facilities/areas previously under Russian occupation.

Venezuela -

Senior Biden administration officials have quietly traveled to Caracas in the latest bid to bring home detained Americans and rebuild relations with the South American oil giant as as the war in Ukraine drags on, driving higher gas prices and forcing the U.S. to recalibrate other foreign policy objectives.

OBSERVATION - Hand in hand is Venezuela’s new friend - Iran - who will benefit from lifting of sanctions for its oil as well.

Misc of Note -

An Amtrak train traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago derailed Monday in Missouri after striking a dump truck and at least three people were killed and multiple people injured, authorities said.
Seven cars on an Amtrak Southwest Chief train derailed near Mendon, Missouri at a rural railroad crossing on a gravel road, the Missouri State High Patrol said. The train had 243 passengers and 12 crew members aboard, an Amtrak spokesperson said.

OBSERVATION - I’m noting this because the circumstances of a dump truck and a rural location (where train speed would be expected to be higher) as potential for a deliberate incident. So far no mentions of further causes or reasons for the dump truck to have been on the tracks and its occupants were killed.

Gay associate diseases making more headlines -
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a statement that it is working with the Florida Department of Health to “investigate one of the worst outbreaks of meningococcal disease among gay and bisexual men in U.S. history.” So far, there have been “24 cases and 6 deaths among gay and bisexual men,” reported the CDC in its June 22 press release.
More than 40 countries where monkeypox is not endemic have reported outbreaks of the viral disease as confirmed cases exceeded 4,100.

OBSERVATION - Quite frankly with the incredibly in your face LGBT etc push this month, CDC and others are expecting these numbers to rise.

Black Swans -

Hurricane season is posing an increased danger to the US oil industry. Current reserves of product are at historic lows, so that if hurricane(s) force shut down of Gulf of Mexico related platforms and refineries, fuel prices could shoot to near apocalyptic levels - even worse if the region’s electrical grid is damaged.

My reports may become a little sporadic as home requirements need to take precedence for may time. FWIW, I spend upwards of 6+ hours a day sorting through news and other reports to produce this. I think it is time well spent in order to produce a quality product. And I rely on my study to guide my own situational alertness and preparations - I don’t have time or resources to deal with bogus threats or distracting issues.

Globalism / Great Reset -

Inflation has likely peaked, but the Fed won’t be able to get it back to the 2% target without causing significant damage, BlackRock vice chairman says
While he believes inflation would likely ease from its all-time high of 8.6% in May, the former central banker emphasized the US was far from lowering interest rates, let alone waving off recession fears.
“The cost of bringing inflation back to 2% is now very very high,” he said, speculating that the Fed faced a hard decision of either bringing inflation down at any cost, or tolerating high prices for the time being.

OBSERVATION - placing this here as Blackwater is one of the power players of the WEF, wielding its trillions in holdings to muscle globalist plans on corporations. I find the article’s “concern” over the US economy interesting, perhaps revealing that instead of a controlled implosion, the globalists see an uncontrolled event coming that could clog their plans up.

Correction - July 4th Cookouts Cost $17 (not 10) More

Driven by supply surpluses in the wake of the closure of the Freeport LNG terminal and recent increases in production, US natural gas future prices have dropped 30% over the last two weeks. Despite hitting an 11 week low, US Natural gas futures are still 62% higher than last year as a result of increased European and Asian energy demands.

U.S. Farmers report shortages of key pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides. Purchasing limitations and supply chain issues have driven 50% price increases for popular herbicides. Federal environmental regulations on agricultural chemical usage are highly restrictive, leaving farmers with few alternative options but to cut back on usage. Shortages are expected to continue into next year, potentially damaging crop yields.

The Interior Department’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, working closely with the White House to shape policy, will release its drafted five-year plan for new oil and gas drilling leases in federal waters to Congress by June 30, according to The New York Times, citing people familiar with the matter. The administration is likely to stop new offshore drilling projects in the Atlantic and the Pacific, and is considering whether to end leasing in the Arctic and Gulf of Mexico.

OBSERVATION - Said it once, said it many times here. biden is not interested in solving the energy crisis, he is interested in crashing the petroleum industry which in turn will crash the US economy.

According to the Department of Energy, inventories in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) declined 6.9 million barrels in the week ending June 24. With the U.S. consuming close to 20 million barrels per day, based on the Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) 2021 estimate, the country maintains 25 days’ worth of supply.

OBSERVATION - This is critical ! There are toooooo many factors out there that could explode and force us to rely upon the reserve. This is deliberate sabotaging of the system.

IN RELATED - The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and OPEC+ are meeting today and tomorrow, however, observers say that any substantial changes to current policy are unlikely.

This year’s winter wheat harvest is coming in very weak, with about 43% of the total crop being rated as poor or very poor. That’s more than double what we saw last year, when roughly 21% rated as poor or very poor.

OBSERVATION - While this is not (yet) at a catastrophic level, any further damage due to environmental, fuel, transportation etc, have the potential to turn bad into worse.

IN RELATED - Ukraine is facing a shortage of grain storage facilities heading into the harvest season, and the risk is that much-needed grain spoils while exports are stalled. Russia has specifically targeted Ukraine grain storage facilities over the past few weeks. The loss of even more Ukraine grain exports will further exacerbate global food shortages and prices.

CW2/Domestic violence -

Biden is expected to take executive action on abortion access after his European trip concludes. Action most likely at this stage would involve the Departments of Justice and Health and Human Services.

OBSERVATION - There are some legal pundits out there saying that since the USSC relies on the executive branch to enforce decisions, the biden regime could ignore any of the decisions and continue with what ever they want to do. Some expression out there that the court itself is illegitimate, because of the Bush and Trump appointees (both presidents viewed as illegitimate).
biden et al has already displayed distain for court decisions it didn’t like, playing games to delay/defer required responses to adverse court decisions. One of the big ones was the ‘dreamer’ ones. Even now directives ae being made to bypass Title 42 bans on illegals decisions by redefining individuals and procedures - to effectively cancel it. However, to flat out refuse to obey the rulings would kick the legs out of the judicial/legal system and bring the country to a level of lawlessness unthinkable under the constitution and rule of law. Such would speed up possibile succession of states and civil war.

Although there has been some violence (mostly in Antifa hotbed cities), the proabort call for open season on pro-Life organizations has largely been lack luster. Antifa already shifting back to support of homeless and environmental causes.

POLITICAL FRONT -

The Biden administration released a five-step plan Tuesday to keep America killing unborn babies in abortions after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last week.
1. Becerra vowed his office will work with federal law enforcement agencies to ensure that states cannot ban abortion pills.
2. Make sure doctors and pharmacists are trained on how to refer patients for abortions
3. Remind Medicaid providers that federal tax dollars may be used to pay for birth control and emergency contraception
4. Becerra said he told the Office of Civil Rights to make sure medical information remains private and patients are not discriminated against for seeking abortions.
5. HHS secretary said his office is exploring ways to potentially use the Emergency Medical Treatment Act to expand abortions.

The testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to Trump’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows in yesterday’s J6 show trial has come apart at the seams overnight. The ‘bombshell’ testimony exploded in the faces of the junta’s committee members.

Japan says it’s monitoring an ongoing “show of force” by the Chinese and Russian navies, whose warships have sailed in a circle around the country in recent weeks.
The seemingly coordinated operations by China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy and the Russian Navy’s Pacific Fleet have not been officially acknowledged by either Beijing or Moscow. Tokyo, meanwhile, has published regular updates about ship movements off Japanese islands.
Between June 15 and 21, between five and seven Russian warships sailed in a southwesterly direction along southern Japan before returning north via the Sea of Japan, the Japanese Defense Ministry said in a tweet on Tuesday. From June 12 to 21, a flotilla of Chinese naval vessels, numbering between three and four, also circumnavigated Japan from the northwest

OBSERVATION - This is part of an ongoing show of force that the Russians have only gotten involved in greater measure since the war with Ukraine started. In China’s case, its growing navy needs practice so more activities in the vicinity of Japan would be expected. Part of that ‘practice’ would be interdicting any support to Taiwan in the event of an attempt by China to take the island by force.

Russia appears to have come up with a tactic of massive artillery to allow Russian troops to advance into Ukraine defensive positions. The Russian flanking move on Lysychansk has neutralized some of the terrain advantage the Ukraine forces possess.

Most of the other fronts have been relatively stable and quiet. Russia launching more missile attacks across the country hitting more civilian targets. Probably an attempt to demoralize the nation, building upon its losses in eastern Ukraine.

Europe / NATO General -
.
Turkey has agreed to support Finland’s and Sweden’s bids for NATO membership, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on Tuesday (28 June).
“I am pleased to announce that we now have an agreement that paves the way for Finland and Sweden to join NATO,” he told reporters on the sidelines of a NATO summit in Madrid. “Turkey, Finland and Sweden have signed a memorandum that addresses Turkey’s concerns, including around arms exports and the fight against terrorism,” he added.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania want 50,000 troops to be permanently stationed across their countries to face down a full-scale Russian invasion, replacing a 4,000-strong ‘tripwire’ force that’s currently in place.
It comes amid fears that Putin could order his commanders to seize a ‘land corridor’ between Russia’s European enclave of Kaliningrad and Belarus along the flashpoint Suwalki Gap, cutting off the Baltics from easy reinforcement.

OBSERVATION - With Norway and Lithuania blocking land shipments to Kaliningrad, increased risk of a direct Russia - NATO conflict are rising. Such a conflict will likely involve Russian strategic systems (missiles) and the Baltic Sea fleet initially as the ground forces are tied down in the Ukraine conflict. If Russia starts shooting, Poland and the Baltic Nations would likely be first targets. NATO’s planned increase in high-readiness forces to “well over 300,000” is recognition of this increased potential.
A scary escalation warning from Russia from a few weeks ago - striking “decisions centers” was just answered recently by Russia through the publication of the locations of these “decision centers”, which included the White House and the Pentagon. Such a strike would place the world on the fast track to a global nuclear battle.

OBSERVATION - This is critical ! There are toooooo many factors out there that could explode and force us to rely upon the reserve. This is deliberate sabotaging of the system.

Biden's goons have us skating on thin ice... what fools.

Globalism / Great Reset -

GENERAL OBSERVATION - A lot of rumors starting to pile up that The Deep State is following a script to implement Arab Spring strategies here in the US in very similar fashion to what he did over seven years ago in the Middle East. Now many will write this off as tinfoil conspiracy talk, however just remember, all those conspiracies in the past soon became reality over the past few years. Most likely goal is to affect the midterm elections and permit democrats to retain power.

So let’s pin this up on the board and watch for further, more reliable developments.

______________________________

Economy -

GENERAL OBSERVATION - The housing market is showing conflicting signs where mortgage rates have gone up 105% under biden, continued shortages of new and pre owned homes on the market, people desperately leaving blue state/city hell hole for red-er pastures, etc. Fed looking to further increase rates. The housing market is acting as a canary in the coal mine and the rough water is most likely to get rougher towards a serious recession and economic crisis. Expect a lot of volatility over the next couple months.

Bloomberg Economics team now modeling in virtual certainty of a recession in the next 24 months, and with consensus now expecting Fed rate hikes to peak in Q4 and rate cuts to begin in Q1 2023. The latest survey of Wall Street professionals conducted by DB’s Jim Reid whose preliminary results suggest that “the risk of a US recession by the end of 2023 has only been building in recent months with 88% of you now thinking it happens by the end of 2023 up from 78% last month.”

The U.S. economy shrank at a 1.6% annual pace in the first three months of the year even though consumers and businesses kept spending at a decent pace, the government reported Wednesday in a slight downgrade from its previous estimate for January-March quarter. This is a key harbinger of an impending recession.

There are rumors a foot that biden’s economic officials are analyzing and modeling worst-case scenarios like what the shock of gas prices hitting $200 per barrel may mean for the economy (meaning $10/gallon gasoline prices). Making matters worse for biden, the target circle for this happening is just before the midterms.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is considering labeling the United States’ largest oil field in violation of ozone pollution standards, threatening drilling operations in the region and, by extension, domestic oil production.
The proposed regulations take aim at the Permian Basin, the largest oil field in the United States, accounting for 95,000,000 gallons of gasoline per day or 40% of the oil produced domestically, according to the Texas Governor’s Office. The move comes amid record gas prices and ongoing energy insecurity for many Americans.

OBSERVATION - News that won’t hit the networks. This is a deliberate attack on the nation’s oil production efforts and is designed to discourage exploration and production. $200 / barrel “shock” may be a low ball figure at this rate.

In a recent interview with CNBC, ARK’s Cathie Wood said she believes the U.S. is already in a recession. “We [ARK] think the big problem out there is inventories, the increase of which I’ve never seen this large in my career,” she said. This generally mirrors local activity in Texas, where manufacturing has significantly decreased as inventories begin to pile up, driving revenues down and leading employers to reduce their workforce.

The White House announced yet another import of baby formula from overseas this week as the shortage crisis continues and store shelves across the United States remain bare. According to a fact sheet forwarded from the Food and Drug Administration, 18,677 cans of Abbott Nutrition formula from Ireland — equaling approximately 535,000 full-size, 8-ounce bottles — will be available in the U.S. in mid-July.

After briefly restarting production, the Abbott Nutrition plant in Sturgis, Michigan has been closed since mid-June due to flooding. No word on how long it will be out of commission. From Food Safety News:
It is unclear what actions an infant formula manufacturer is taking to clean its production facility after it was inundated recently with floodwaters.
Abbott Nutrition shut down operations at its Sturgis, MI, plant the third week of June when floodwaters surged in after local storm drain systems were overcome by torrential rains. As of June 28 the plant remained closed and company officials remained close mouthed about its status.

OBSERVATION - It is apparent this is deliberate mismanagement of the baby formula crisis biden et al created to begin with.

Now another railroad limiting traffic. Rail company Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) is set to begin limiting shipments of food, diesel, and other commodities to California through the end of July. Citing labor shortages and severe weather, the company says the embargo is necessary to relieve congestion of eastbound traffic along its Southern Transcon Corridor, which runs from Chicago to Southern California. Limited exceptions for materials related to public welfare, military equipment, and water treatment supplies will come into effect after 06 July.

OBSERVATION - This will have a nasty impact on kalifornians with even higher costs for food, fuel and other items.

Biden / Harris watch -

The latest RealClearPolitics poll average finds Biden’s approval rating sinking to an all time low of 38 percent. Nearly 85% of U.S. adults feel the country is headed in the wrong direction, according to an Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs poll.

“The president intends to run and if he does, I will be his ticket mate. We will run together,” Harris told a Times reporter Wednesday as she prepared to depart for California aboard Air Force Two.
“Ticket mate” - curious term. . . . . .

CW2/Domestic violence -

Kalifornia ineptitude or (more likely) deliberate malfeansce, leaked a massive amount personal information of CCW holders in the state for all CCW holders from 2011 to 2021. The disclosure of all CCW holders in California is unprecedented and unconscionable. The leak included personal information including the addresses, birthdates, driver’s license information, and information from DROS documents. This doxxing of gun owners comes on the heels of the USSC decision restoring carry rights to citizens.

OBSERVATION - Though shut down, access to data was available for over 12 hours and most likely be used by those with criminal and eventually political axes to grind. This is up close and personal now to me as I had a Kalifornia CCW during the time period released. Looking into the legal ramifications for personal reasons.

Abortion rights activist group We Won’t Go Back is mobilizing for nationwide protests over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Observers don’t expect much from this gauging from the lack luster responses to date, however it will give opportunity for Antifa affiliates in their stronghold cities to continue causing problems and vandalizing not only pro-life facilities, but other ‘capitalist’ properties as well.

POLITICAL FRONT -

The left is trying to energize itself over rumors that Hillary is planning a 2024 run.

Post USSC abortion ruling indicates that there isn’t much evidence so far that the Dobbs decision is changing the political landscape for Democrats in any appreciable way. A new, post Dobbs YouGov/Economist poll of 776 likely voters from June 25 to June 28 determined that 45 percent of voters would support their Republican congressional candidate, as opposed to 40 percent for the Democrat. This is a one percent increase from YouGov’s poll last week, which had Democrats at 41 percent.

OBSERVATIONS - Trying to get Hillary back into the race and abortion not being as big of a factor as they hoped, I expect democrat desperation to climb. This also increases the chance of more violence - common tool of the left to cower potential voters on the right.

The testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson continues to melt down into a dumpster fire of epic proportions. In addition to her now destroyed claims of Trump’s attempts to hijack “The Beast”, she has claimed that there hordes of armed rioters that day with body armor and AR-15s (ummmmm, absolutely no photographic evidence what so ever). Further, she so appalled by Trump and J6 that she…was planning to go work for Trump at his FL residence eight days *after* January 6.

OBSERVATION - Her “testimony” would not be allowed in any court. Any credibility this so called J6 panel ever had has evaporated.

Biden appointee to the Supreme Court Ketanji Brown Jackson will be sworn in following the retirement of liberal Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer at noon. Jackson will be the first black woman to serve on the Supreme Court.

Domestic Terror -

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, praised the Mapping Project, an organization that identifies and publishes the locations of Jewish organizations in order to combat Zionism, for creating “a new and qualitative addition to the campaigns to confront the Zionist entity.”
In a June 24 press release, the PFLP stated they “highly appreciate” the efforts of the Mapping Project. The statement claimed that the published Jewish organizations in Boston and throughout Massachusetts perpetuate “the racist colonial system in all of Palestine, from the river to the sea.”

OBSERVATION - There are many “mapping” projects out there that terror groups can access to make their planning easier. There is a similar one identifying pro-life related facilities, others mapping gun owners. Lots of info readily available for targeting based on preferred idology/politics.

Strategic Activity / Deployments

In addition to other troop deployment changes in Europe, Biden said the U.S. would have an additional rotational brigade stationed in Romania, enhance rotational troop deployments in the Baltic states, “and station additional air defense and other capabilities in Germany and in Italy.” He also announced the deployment of six U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class destroyers into the Mediterranean Sea to provide air defense missions. They also have the ability to launch cruise missiles well inland into Russia.

The U.S.-led RIMPAC 2022 multinational military exercise began yesterday across the Pacific. The biennial exercise includes 26 nations and will showcase the latest in technology and advanced weapons systems, including unmanned naval surface vessels. The exercise, aimed at improving integration and coordination among Indo-Pacific allies, is widely viewed as a defense against Chinese expansion.

********
Russia has called the on track NATO expansion to Finland and Sweden “a purely destabilizing factor.” President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would respond in kind if NATO set up infrastructure in Finland and Sweden after they join the U.S.-led military alliance.
QUESTION - Just how much does putin have left to accomplish this when he thrown every thing and the kitchen sink into Ukraine?

Russia has reportedly launched a cyberattack targeting public and private institutions in Norway

Ukraine -

WEATHER FORECAST - Hot and dry over the 10 day forecast period.

24 HOUR ROUND UP -
Russian forces continued their successful assault towards Lysychansk from the south, a move that will result in all of the Luhansk Oblast being under Russian / separatist control. Forces also appear to be pivoting towards the west as the Lysychansk pocket is being closed.

Kyiv front -
Nothing significant to report.

Northern (Chernihv region ) and North Eastern (Konotop - Sumy salient) Fronts -
More Russian artillery fire scattered around the regions.

Eastern (Kharkiv) front -
Russian forces continued offensive operations to advance on Slovyansk from the northwest near the Kharkiv-Donetsk Oblast border.

Donetsk Oblast -
Fluid tactical situation. Russians continue to shell and bomb throughout the region. Russia continues to launch attacks through the sector.

Heavy Russian artillery fire all around the perimeter of the Lysychansk pocket, many with an associated attempt at a ground attack, that in most cases were reportedly repelled.

Russian forces conducting offensive near Lysychansk refinery and under the cover of artillery, Russian forces pressed towards trying to control the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway, the main supply route to Ukrainian forces in Lysychansk, with moderate success.

Russian forces are now pressing westward as the Lysychansk pocket is reduced.

Russian forces continued to attempt to press their attacks southward out of the Izyum region. However, little gains have been accomplished.

Eastern (Donbas Separatist Region) Front -
More artillery strikes and limited attacks by Russian / separatist forces.

Crimea Front -
Russian forces have left Snake island after massive missile and artillery strikes. Snake Island is important in that it controls shipping lanes coming out of the Odessa region. Russia had put a lot of time and material on the island in an attempt to secure it. Moscow says its withdrawal is a “goodwill gesture” to facilitate grain exports - but any attempt by Ukrainan ships to transit the Black Sea are still blocked by the Russian fleet.
Pending question is how soon will Ukraine attempt to place its own SAMs and anti-ship missiles on the island.

Ukraine reports it has regained control of Potyomkyne village in Kherson region.

Western / Central Ukraine -
Nothing significant to report

Russian Territory -
Nothing significant to report

Partisian Resistance -
Ukrainian Resistance Center reported on June 28 that the Kremlin is setting conditions to annex areas of Kherson and Zaporizhia into the Russian Federation under the template of the pre-1917 “Tavriia Gubernia.” The Tavriia (or Tauride) Gubernia was a historical province of the Russian Empire. Under the Tavriia Gubernia scenario, the left bank of Kherson Oblast and part of Zaporizhia Oblast would be directly annexed to the Russian Federation, likely as a single unit.

The Russian flanking move on Lysychansk has neutralized some of the terrain advantage the Ukraine forces possess. I expect two things -

1. Ukraine to stage a strategic withdrawal from the pocket to restore supply lines and establish new defense lines
2. Associated terrain gains by Russia.

This is one battle where Russia finally showed some tactical prowess and applied its strengths (overwhelming artillery) to counter Ukraine tough defense AND out maneuvering the defense via flank attack towards Lysychansk instead of head on into the meat grinder attacks common place so far.

Russia may gain this corner of eastern Ukraine, but at a huge cost of men and material.

Europe / NATO General -
.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expressing optimism that humanitarian corridors could be opened to enable the export of Ukrainian grain to the rest of the world amid Russia’s war.
Tens of millions of people across the world are at risk of hunger as the four-month war has disrupted shipments of grain from Ukraine.

OBSERVATION - It has already been documented that Russia has stolen tons and tons of grain for its own use and blackmarket sales. It has increased its targeting of remaining Ukraine stores. There may very well be no grain left by the time these “humanitarian corridors” are set up - and we’ve seen how Russia has held up their end of the deals on other corridors.

Russia has reportedly launched a cyberattack targeting public and private institutions in Norway. This is response to Norway blockading food supplies to Russians at a mine in the region.

Syria -

After yesterday’s astounding announcement that Turkey had withdrawn its objections to Finland and Sweden joining NATO, the Kremlin announced the following today:
“Russia will participate in liberating all occupied Syrian lands from Kurdish and Turkish militias. It will not allow the establishment of a Turkish buffer zone.”
The Turks have insisted there be at least a 30 mile “Buffer Zone” in northern Syria, into which no Kurdish may live or travel.

OBSERVATION - This now sets Russia directly on a path to military confrontation with Turkey.

Misc of Note -

Rationing of key items is going global at in increasing rate. Like the rationing of baby formula here, “supply problems” have become so serious that many supermarkets in Europe have been forced to strictly ration essential items at various times. For example, it was being reported that due to the war in Ukraine flour, sunflower oil and sugar were all being rationed by stores in Greece. Sporadic shortages of products like eggs, milk, and other dairy products also hit Spain since the war in Ukraine began. And major supermarkets including Mercadona and Makro began rationing sunflower oil earlier this month.
This will all be made worse in the coming months with the rationing of natural gas as countries try to build stockpiles for winter use.
