CNN is not a business. It is a propaganda outlet for AT&T. A cost center not a revenue generating center.
It’s a CIA Front.
Yes, like so many other vanity projects; NY Times, Washington Post, Disney, to name a few.
How much was due to more people moving to streaming applications like Roku, where you can choose NOT to have CNN in your line-up?
“CNN is not a business. It is a propaganda outlet for AT&T. A cost center not a revenue generating center.”
Exactly! Much of the MSM has adopted this model.
“CNN is not a business. It is a propaganda outlet for AT&T. A cost center not a revenue generating center.”
Assuming the spinoff of CNN and other Time-Warner media entities goes through, there is a real opportunity for the executives of the new company to reposition CNN and dramatically capture market share. All they have to do is return to reporting straight news as classical journalists answering the questions who, what, when, where, why in a factual, unbiased way. Supplement with commentary that is clearly labeled as editorial and opinion and not embedded in news reporting. Balance commentary between left, right, and moderate pundits. ng straight news balanced with clearly labeled opinion.
Throw in an occasional in depth investigative journalism report, again balanced between both conservative and leftist sacred cows. For example an in-depth report into sources of Mitch McConnell’s wealth, and conflicts of interests, could be balanced with a similar report on Nancy Pelosi.
This positioning will be highly attractive to the majority of independents as well as people on the left and right capable of reason and desiring a reliable and trustworthy source of factual information and a look at opinions on the right and the left.
Yes…a propaganda outlet…it is a cost of spreading the lies for the leftists…
