Filipinos in the USA on average, have higher education, above average incomes, and lower poverty rates.
Just go to the state of Hawaii and see... nearly 1 in 5 Hawaiians are of Filipino descent.

There are now more Cherokees and Navajos in the continental US than there were of all tribes when Columbus discovered the New World.
When Cher came out with her pro-Indian songs my sister decided she was a Native American. She still thinks so. And she’s a bat poop crazy leftie to boot.
I say cherokee Indian whenever a questionnaire person calls me to get my opinions on the political scene. I may be about 4% Cherokee. And I lived on Cherokee land: The Ga. 14 district for 12 years. My face gets red whenever I am in bright sunshine. I would tell them Mars or Neptune for my ancestry, yet it is more fun to say Cherokee. If I am being serious with important people, I will include all the various European Groups as well. I am a mutt. Not exactly pure-bred. Proud of it.

My mom told me I have some Native American blood, but I don’t trust sending tissue samples to some company to find out my heritage. I wonder how much heritage one has to have to proclaim membership.
I’m a descendent of the Hekawi’s. I have been told Many moons ago, tribe leave Massachusetts because Pilgrims ruin neighborhood! Tribe travel west, over stream, over river, over mountain, over mountain, over river, over stream! Then come big day... tribe fall over cliff. That when Hekawi get name.
Most of the folks coming from Central America these days are of indigenous ancestry so that could also account for it.

Four percent is more native American than Elizabeth Warren, who in her actual DNA test, is at best, 1/64th native American or about 1.5%.

Before they backtracked, Salvation Army wanted whites to apologize for the color of skin they were born with before donating.
There is absolutely no remaining historical benefit to being white. That was the goal, so this is where it should stop. Unfortunately, it’s becoming more and more common to see public white put downs accepted even by whites. If racism is wrong, then it’s wrong against anyone.
