Where it really becomes a problem is if you total your car. Then you need one right away.
Wife got one of those from Subaru about her Forester. Want’s to buy it back.
“Give up on Toyota and move to Suburu you can thank me later.”
Although I’ve owned Subarus in the past no way in hell would I buy one of the current CVT models even with its fake 7 or 8 speed “manual” mode (or any other make with cvt). But manual WRX, yes!
I bought 2 Mazdas and a Hyundai earlier this year before inventory ran out. I guess I was luck or had good timing. Got a great deal on all 3.
The lots are empty here but the giant huge lot where excess inventory is parked is chock full. Dealers started using that lot during the leftist buyback of older cars.
They want less people driving. They want less people flying. They want less people owning single family homes. They want the US to become a third world country.
Here in PA, a good used car is like a good used dodo bird. Good luck finding one.
I’m told it’s Obama’s fault. Cash for clunkers.
A nice used truck can be had fully loaded (gun and bible), but the tires will cost you extra and the engine is optional.
Midwest area gere
Our used car and regular dealers have cars and trucks, the used lots are fuller
I have started to notice the dealerships playing filler tricks to make the space seem less empty by the positioning of the vehicles, its starting to become more noticeable
plenty of owner sales on craigslist at reasonable prices
i never look at dealer sales on craigslist
There’s not to many new cars out there you could give me.
Most of it overpriced plastic garbage. Some of the newer safety features are a good addition, but I see lots of "bloatware" on vehicles these days.
For example, the new GM Hummer has 4-wheel steering. This has been tried many times over the years and failed.
If China invades Taiwan, the Chip Industry will cripple the USA.
More planned disaster.
FJB, and the Great Reset.
Lock and Load.
I still have a couple of nice mares that eat grass.
you might want to order the tires now. and other parts. I’ve stocked a few parts for upcoming maintenance, but some items are on backorder....
Speaking of tires, my front tires make a loud humming sound when driving over 70mph. My current mechanic told me after rotating tires that can happen. My old mechanic retired to Florida, of course! Who to trust?

They can’t FORCE EV’s on everyone now there is NO PLACE to lug them in AND who the hell can afford them, my brother purchased a Mustang EV about 7 months ago $70,000 bucks!! NO THANKS!!
The Ministry of Plenty will tell you there are many new cars and productivity is threw the roof. The Ministry of Truth will tell you ...
Same low inventory situation at my local Ford dealer. The lots are on my errand route and the new car lot is mostly empty with a small handful of new cars and trucks. Used car lot & inventory is full with regularly rotating stock. They are buying and selling used...
We have to wait till 2024 but obviously Trump or whoever will reverse all this so no it’s not the end of America. Yet.
Republicans can start obstructing it next year.
I just sold my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon for $34,000. I paid $38,920 for it almost seven years ago. I’m in the process of buying a 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness Edition for MSRP. It’s in transit right now, but should arrive around the middle of December. Our Subaru dealer doesn’t do market adjustment price increases, so just MSRP plus $199 doc fee and $280 for title, two year registration and plates. Even in a buyer’s market, the most I would have gotten off of this vehicle is around $1000 to $1300, so I consider myself pretty lucky.
I know a guy who ordered tires for his Tacoma.
2 week minimum wait wherever he checked.
