Last time we had a little bit of spine there was Gingrich.
And I’m not convinced he isn’t a globalist too.

Kevin is RINO Ryan's sock puppet, while Ryan is Soro's sock puppet.
Time for new GOP Leadership to emerge.

If it were possible to get Trumpbas speaker that would be incredible! It would probably hurt his chances in 2024 though, not sure. Just an all out MAGA would be good enough for me

McCarthy’s “job” is delivering the GOP’s Chamber of Chinese Commerce donors. That is all.

The problem with GOP speakers of the house. (Note deliberately not capitalizing!) is they're just a blend of the GOP membership in attitudes & actions. Just another herd-follower trying to please everybody so they can keep the position. Say what you will about Pelosi but she's in charge of the Rat side. If you're a Rat congresscritter and you cross her and her ilk, you find yourself at best chair of the subcommittee on congressional bathroom use. GOP speakers are a weak less macho version of Mr Rogers, in short no leadership chops at all ! The one exception was possibly Newt but Newt also had some decent support in the whip and other house leadership positions. (Do not take this as uncritical praise of Newt. It's praise in compared to the other gop speakers.)

I’m no fan of McCarthy but in all fairness there isn’t anyone capable of doing that job when you have two factors in play:
1. a divided electorate with no coherent form of any concrete agenda.
2. a bloated government that can never be downsized.
This is a recipe for disaster. The only way a nation can remain united under these conditions is for the government to piss away so much money on so many people that nobody feels motivated to change anything.

Darren Beattie on War Room said there are three types of GOP in Congress: “The Weak, the stupid or the corrupt. And that doesn’t give you much to work with.” McCarthy is all three.

It doesn’t matter if he’s up for it or not. It’s his turn. If the GOP takes the House then McCarthy will be speaker. Unless he loses reelection.
To: DIRTYSECRET
NO! Most definitely, NOT.
For that matter, neither is Yurtle (M. McConnel)

“Jim Jordan!”
That’s who I see as Majority Leader.
I dunno. Just look at Gowdy and Jason Chavettz(Utah quitter). Jordan would be good but I’d be prepared to be disappointed.
To: DIRTYSECRET
You're right that the power brokers will back him. Add to that the swamp creatures and the crooked.
Who will step up? I have no idea. I can hope that someone with gonads of steel will, because that's what will be required if we're going to save this republic.

No, there were Reps voting for Trump’s impeachment and the infrastructure bill, along with McCarthy’s pro-FBI stance and not fighting for Jan 6th prisoners.

Jim Jordan is the ONLY person there worthy of the job!!!

He is not up to the job
He’s not up to the job he has now!! I pray the Repubs don’t put him in any kind of position of power. I don’t trust him.
