Th trial is almost over. I very much want to know why Rittenhouse’s lawyers put him on the stand especially given how badly the persecution screwed the pooch on their own case.
Smart defense lawyers do not let their clients take the stand.
Especially when the prosecution wins your case for you.
Why put him on the stand at all when the prosecution had no case.
The defense nailed it today when he said the prosecution was trying to get a mistrial and get a do over.
But the defense should have asked for dismissal of all charges, or even better a directed verdict of not guilty, as soon as the prosecution rested.
My thoughts exactly. The prosecution won the case for them. You could only go downhill from there.
