"I was greatly offended when I saw a pregnant woman have her hands placed behind her back and handcuffed because to me where was the welfare and concern for her if she felk iover. She had no ability to protect herself and that disturbed me greatly..." (at 11:25 in the video link below)
Those words and more spoke by Krystle Mitchell, a 16-year veteran of the Victoria Police seen cracking down on protesters on the streets of Melbourne, as she appeared in her uniform during an interview expressing her dismay at the situation as a prelude to her resignation from the force.

I just learned something in the last few minutes that Melbourne has advanced its clocks where it is now springtime Down Under.

It’s starting to work, which is good.
Yup, Australia needs a revolution. And a bill of rights.
Too bad they let the government take all their weapons.
Remind me again why it was a good idea to give up your guns?
As I have posted many times, there are more guns now in Australia than when the restrictions went into effect. True that fewer households have them, but the average gun owner now has at least four guns.
I am not for the restrictions, but there are more guns now in the hands of gun owners, than before the restrictions were put in place. Most of the serious gun owners now have more guns (legally) than before they restrictions. As I just posted, the average gun owner has at least 4 guns. There are over 3 million legally registered guns in Australia. Heaven only knows how many illegal guns are in the hand of the bikies, criminals and the over all mob syndicate.
What is your point? I know what the gun restrictions are, it doesn’t mean you cannot have a gun. As I keep posting, there are more guns now then ever here in Australia. There is even a Shooter, Fishers and Farmers Political Party in Australia.

Can you explain that in more detail?
They did confiscate guns from quite a few people, right?
To me, the suppression we are seeing in Victoria, should be met with armed resistance.
At what point does the power that the government has usurped from the people, get reigned in by force of arms from a disgusted public.
Sorry, no I do not as it would be difficult to find because each state does it a bit differently. The states have much more control in Australia than in the USA. Here is a reference: https://www.fieldandgame.com.au/page/firearms-licensing-categories It is much easier to get a license for rifles and shotguns, but you can get them for handguns too.
You also have to remember that Melbourne is a far left city like Portland, San Francisco and Seattle. The population so overwhelms the rest of rural Victoria (which is much more conservative). So Melbourne elects the Premier, who is Dan Andrews, who is far left and a dictator like DeBlasio in NYC. In Oz, the states have far more power than the USA and they make the rules for Covid, not the Federal Government. The police force is far left in Melbourne. So this is not representative of all of Australia. NSW (Sydney) now has a new Premier who is anti-lockdown, so that is great news. The tide is turning in Australia against the lock-downs.
Was waiting for that reply.
I wonder WTH it is going to take to see a real throw down in this country-USA.
But, as long as the children have their toys and goodies here, it aint gonna happen.
It is a selfish society. “As long as it does not effect me, I dont care.” That is what they are thinking to themselves.
Thanks for the info! I love having ppl from other countries and regions on FR because there’s a whole world out there besides the USA and knowledge is power.
What kinds of firearms are still legal to own?
