I suspect that this will continue to be a problem for any conservative president. The solution to the problem is two fold. One, the size of federal government needs to be severely reduced so that it is manageable. There are too many things government shouldn’t be doing and too many things that rightly belong in state and local government.

I had some thoughts along those lines today after watch the senators grilling mikky bu zoom from home.

This “Work From Home” has proven one thing: we don’t need a massive cumbersome gummit bureaucracy nestled in DC.

No need for congress to even leave home state
No need for the agency support staffs to be HQ’d in DC
No need for a dept of education to be HQ in DC

Same with energy, housing, homeland

Decentralize um all

Escape the inflated cost of maintaining the massive gummi presence in DC

Put the jobs & payrolls back in the states where they belong

I was thinking of same idea.

Also, somewhat cuts back on the “Hunger Games” Capitol like feeling that describes Washington more and more, elites, ever sucking more life from the country in their protected, fenced in luxury resort.

Keep them in state and closer to the tar, feathers and pitchforks of those they are supposed to represent but who are instead being sold to the highest bidder.
Maybe keep them on their toes a bit more to stop betraying us quite so much?
