Years of agonizing and frustrating reviews and analysis of the Trump administration activity in real-time are reconciling today. During Senate testimony today before the Armed Services Committee, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman, General Mark Milley, clarified some very painful issues to accept. President Trump was being heavily managed by operatives of the Senior Executive Service (SES), and his inner circle was willfully participating.
What follows is in no way a defense of Milley, quite the contrary, Milley is a brutally political, manipulative, entitled and arrogant member of the United States armed forces. His delusions of grandiosity represent the worst of our nation and can only be topped by one other, Anthony Fauci.
Earlier today, Milley was attempting to flex his power in the almost identical way we saw former FBI Director James Comey pull the same angle. You might remember, during congressional testimony in March 2017 when Comey was questioned about why he never informed congressional ‘gang-of-eight’ oversight about the preceding eleven month FBI investigating the incoming President, Donald Trump. Director Comey pontificated, obfuscated, dodged carefully, and then deflected responsibility by saying he informed the “national security council” under President Obama.
When General Milley attempted to justify his unilateral contacts with Chinese military officials, he made a similar, and remarkably telling, admission and deflection.
For the January 8th phone call with General Lee of China, Milley stated he informed President Trump’s Chief-of-Staff Mark Meadows and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Keep in mind that Kash Patel has publicly stated General Milley did not inform Acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller directly; at least to his knowledge. So, Milley’s secondary point about notifying Christopher Miller in January 2020 needs to be reconciled carefully.
Listen carefully to how Milley is describing those calls.

Sounds like a behind the scenes power controlling government policy.
It sure does. To the Deep State, Trump and his supporters were/still are a national security threat to them.
Are these the same people who are behind Biden?
Majestic 12 - UFOs
Just kidding...
I didn’t say TPTB - I’d have to be on a nut-job conspiracy ping list for that!
🤪
Somehow I doubt that's her real name.
So who is managing Biden? Or are they?
Gee, I didn't know that military protocol required Milley to report to the President's Chief-of-Staff, and the Secretary of State instead of to the President himself.
I suspect that this will continue to be a problem for any conservative president. The solution to the problem is two fold. One, the size of federal government needs to be severely reduced so that it is manageable. There are too many things government shouldn’t be doing and too many things that rightly belong in state and local government. Two, no one gets to make a career out of government. Twelve years and done. That goes for janitors to generals. That should also include contractors.
“Squirrel!”
One, the size of federal government needs to be severely reduced so that it is manageable. >>>> Create offices in Nome, AK. You get a phone and a cot. Move Education there first. Let them all quit. Next, EPA, on down the line until there are none left.
I don’t know about you but this was very obvious to me from the Ukrainian Impeachment Coup attempt on. Barr, Wray, Haspell, Milley, all DS anti Trump coup kingpins, were hamstringing the administration at every turn, greatly limiting Trump’s actions. The head coup fixers, Barr and Wray, ran interference while Trump was fed bad intell on everything. The most powerful man in the administration, including Trump, was Fauci. Milley/Pelosi/CCP was ongoing. Meadows might not have been an active, planning member of the coup but he was certainly AWOL when Trump needed him most. Trump was a babe in the woods when dealing with these DS sharks. I can’t imagine Trump was completely blind to all of this though.
And we still wonder what/who was behind JFK’s assassination.
No. Milley is a liar. SES is Biden/Obama territory. Why would anybody believe Milley?
I don’t. There’s no evidence that anyone other than Oswald was involved. I know it’s an article of faith around here that it was the “deep state” but I’ve done too much digging and looked at the facts. Oswald acted alone.
>> Milley admits ... President Trump was being heavily managed
“Admits” signals a statement of truth... based on Milley’s disdainful view of Trump.
And “heavily managed”? That insinuates coordinated lying and deception.
Not buying it.
I think going to the Chief of Staff is the way it works for almost all presidents.
Trump...now you see the scum & vermin traitors we have running the USA Military. Add Murderer/Criminal Biden and you have the team that will destroy the American Nation Republic!!! Sad days coming for the American people!!! No Democrats or Republican profiles in courage to throw this low life Biden team into the gutter of disgust garbage!!! Sad!!!

President Trump was a man totally alone in The Swamp that is DC. Stabbed in the back and betrayed by nearly 100% of the people around him. He realized this after a short while. When he tried to bring in some of his own outsiders many of them betrayed him as well.
Some betrayed him seeking their own fame and acceptance with the Media and the DC Elite. Scaramucchi and Omarosa are two glaring examples of this. In the end, even his own VP betrayed him.
Yet, despite ALL of this the man still fights on. Not deterred. Not wallowing in self pity. Trump fights on. And, it is this fighting spirit and dogged determination that The Swamp fears the most. It is also what motivates Trumps base to double down in support of him. He fights and so motivates his base to do so as well.
