He explained that he could not find anyone that wanted a job. Simple. He refuses to pay enough to get workers. He is hard head that want to set wages like a mini Stalin or something.
To most Republicans rising wages are a crises....

Well I don’t pay that much attention....but noticed beef roasts had gone up. I usually get what I want...am not one to like Chicken much but do like Kentucky Fried Chicken and the Whole ones the grocery stores sell.
My problem is I’m not a very good cook....a few dishes I do well with but never learned how to use spices etc. And worse what wines to cook with. Once used Mogan David Wine on a roast...had to throw it out! Terrible. But the wine was given to me after a Wedding so that’s what I had. Ha!

When government pays people more to stay at home than they can get at work the people don’t go to workPay more that the govt is paying. Easy Peasy. Then you will have all the market share.

A grocery store manager told me the other day that the supply trucks have been running late because they were short on drivers. At another grocery store (Krogers) I overheard an employee kvetching about workers being sent home because the trucks weren’t coming. Also noticing the price of bacon seems to have jumped again.

It's not rising wages, it the government paying people not to work. There is nothing you can do about that right now. SO PAY UP FOR LABOR AND GET ON WITH BUSINESS.

“CLICKBAIT. Tells you nothing about causes of shortages, but pimps his new (and probably worthless) book at the end.”
Well why didn’t you tell us that before I read the article? That’s 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back.

Some businesses can afford to pay higher labor costs, some cannot.

No, if he could just raise his rates and pay more he would have. He has competition and calculated his best bet is to down size his business and not raise rates. People live comfortably on unemployment and/or welfare. They don’t need to work. That’s a bad thing.
