No shortage of people would be snowflakes and complain about rationing and darkening their windows on the west coast in 1942. “My rights! My freedom!” Hogwash. Take a look at how the US military in Asia has successfully mitigated Covid dramatically and there is your true patriotism. Anyone is free not to mask or not to vaccinate… But just stay home then until this pandemic is over and don’t risk the rest of us with your irresponsible behavior...End of story.
You know I bought into all of that early 2020, when all we knew was that it was a bio weapon and no one knew anything about it. I looked at what other countries were doing at it made sense to me at the time. I thought wearing masks was a small price to pay. I never understood sweeping lockdowns though, it made more sense to me to temporarily lockdown places it was popping up. I posted a lot on the big covid thread - case counts, research, potential treatments, etc.
But I was never for mandates of any kind, I just thought people should “do the right thing”. Given all that, I still never trusted Fauci or the CDC because I knew their political leanings and they would use all of this to hurt Trump.
Then, I saw that in my state there were no mask mandates and the lockdown was short - our case rate/death rate was no different than states that had months and months of lockdown and mandated masks.
Somewhere in summer 2020, I began to see how the lockdowns, masks, and fear of covid were a tool of control, was destroying small business, wreaking havoc on economies, and ultimately helped facilitate the biggest election fraud in history. My son and husband who never stopped working the whole time, never got Covid. I was more careful, taking care of my elderly father. I know a few who did get Covid last year/early this year and it was mild, one had a rough go, another died. That’s it. I began to realize that the numbers were overblown and manipulated to create an atmosphere of fear that would ultimately lead to the mechanism in place for fraud, fear of covid kept observers from watching the counts, etc.
I also watched how BLM and Antifa could gather and riot and no one cared about Covid, but every Trump rally was so dangerous, and people should not go to church. The double standard was glaringly obvious.
Enter the “vaccine”. Even when Trump was still in office I was hesitant about a rushed shot that would normally go through 10 years of trials. My attitude was “wait and see”.
After seeing what I see now, I will never get the MRNA shot. The CDC, Biden admin and Fauci have lied and continue to lie to us, about the safety of the vaccine, the ability of the shot to stop the spread, then ability of the shot to stop severe virus, or death. They embarked a campaign to demonize the “unvaxxed peasant”, while allowing God knows who to flow over our borders and flying them in from Afghanistan while abandoning Americans. They say the vaxxed have to wear masks and distance, still, while the elite get a pass and party without them (Obama, Pelosi, Gala). The mandate for vaccines for the proletariat that doesn’t apply to those working for the CDC, Congress, NIH, USPS, White House, and many other government agencies.
Then there is the disinformation campaign over treatments that are showing better efficacy than the shot, ignoring the hundreds of studies of medicines that are working, and that have been safely used in humans for decades. They are pulling off the shelf every treatment shown in studies to have a positive effect against covid, and are only allowing certain ones through - incidentally, the ones that make money. Even with monoclonals, they are limiting availability to states with Republican governors.
Not only do they hide the fact that the shots are not working, they are hiding the massive amount of severe reactions. I have friends in healthcare who know, and are seeing it first hand as do MANY here on Free Republic. In fact, I did an analysis of my own state’s data and learned that the vaxxed are only .64% less likely to be hospitalized and .27% less likely to die of Covid than the unvaxxed (which includes partial vaxxed and vaxxed <14 days). I know personally many who have had serious adverse reactions, and I have known several people, in their 50s and early 60s, who have died of covid who were vaxxed, and a few who were very ill. I know one who died of covid in this latest wave who was not vaxxed, one who had a rough week, but dozens who had a mild case for a few days with symptoms akin to hay fever. My FIL is now in memory care and covid just swept through. They have no mask or shot requirements there for residents or visitors. The only person who got sick was a vaccinated caregiver. They opened back up after 2 weeks and those elderly are not languishing, dying, and missing their loved ones like they were in heavy locked down areas.
Mandating the shot has nothing to do with public health or science. Ignoring natural immunity is as unscientific as it gets. Requiring an experimental shot for young people who have 99.97% to 99.99% chance of recovering is insanity. The shot mandates are being used to destroy what is left of small business and replace healthcare workers with foreigners. This is the part of then ”Build Back Better” that requires communists to tear down everything first, from our culture to our livelihood.
It is NOT about health, it about control and has been, for certain parties, from day one. Even the most socialistic countries have populations pushing back against mandates. They see them for what they are:
Tyranny.
So no, I will not bend to tyranny, because that is what it is. It is not about health anymore, the tyrants have made sure of that. Any progress they could have made with me regarding this shot went out the window with their overwhelming corruption, hypocrisy, and deceit.
If I die because I was wrong, the I die. But I will know I died on my feet against tyranny rather than on my knees like a slave.
It’s ALL about rights and freedom, my friend. And once you give them up, you’ll never get them back.

Ivermectin has been taken in billions of human doses. Far safer than the vax. Has saved far more that any vax, in Africa alone.

The mRNA vax is an experiment. Perhaps a safely useful technology someday. But force and fraud always invalidate supposedly moral missions of control over Freedom. We have plenty of both force and fraud going on here in the states in regard to handling the bug.
Your main story is weak anyway: ALL HAIL, the mighty super-vax which defeated Covid-zilla in Japan! But which can’t protect you from me shopping at the grocery store?
