His Volvo was a beautiful car, no question.

Every now and then, some obscure bit of history or figure would be mentioned and come to find out, the writers were accurate. One was about an early middle age German river pirate who actually lived.

I watched one last night brought up a Scottish knife I couldn’t make out the pronunciation of but the “skin do”(?) was a thing.

Some of the best parts was playing off inspector Teal.

I had a ‘64, it was a roomy car inside, believe it or not. Cool car. Spare parts were expensive. A used brake drum in 1974 cost $65, a VW Beetle brake drum new cost $12. That was a rude awakening!
