Fox News’ year-over-year losses were sharper. The network shed -39% of its average total audience, -44% in the prime time demo, 39% in total day viewers and -44% in the total day demo. Now, to be fair, Fox News set cable news records in Q2 2020. Tucker Carlson Tonight averaged more than 4.3 million total viewers per original broadcast, a quarterly record for a cable news show, and the network as a whole averaged 3.57 million viewers in prime time and 1.96 million in total day – also cable news records for quarterly viewership.
So, a steep decline in Q2 2021 was expected.
He is a snake in the grass Bush League Republican.
Fox News was dead to me when they fired Trish Regan and Lou Dons.
I actually cut cable right after Fox's November 3 betrayal and have not missed them.
100% correct! FoxNews exists as a controlled relief valve. The Marxists aren’t dumb with their propaganda, they know how to distract on one hand while they push with the other.
Fox could get all those viewers back and then some by having Emily Compagno on ‘The Five’ every day sitting in the ‘leg chair’.
Having dogs in the leg chair ain’t workin’!
Stop it!
Comparing a campaign year against a non-campaign/regular year, will always yield results that show less in the regular year compared to the year when most of what was happening was campaign driven.
We like fact-based/unbiased news, but, there are instances when people create ‘news or polls’ that are meant to suit a particular viewpoint.
I don’t like it when the liberal media does it, and Idon’t like it when the opposite side does it.
Fox News and Fox Business have the best conservative commentators in the business. Here are a few:
Maria Barttrona (sp), Larry Kudlow, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Mark Levin, Jessie Watters, Laura Ingram, Jennine Pirro, and a half-dozen more whose names I can’t think right now! All the Fox and Friends hosts are conservative.
Neither Newsmax or OAN can match Fox’s conservative credentials.
President Trump has appeared on most all of their programs.
OANN Encore is free on Pluto TV - those are recently aired opinion shows. I was shocked to see it and America’s Voice feature on Roku channel now.
Of course. Everyone who subscribes to cable or satellite TV does.
I’m tired of explaining this - those who are all wound up over FNc’ CNN, and the rest needs to educate themselves. Search “carriage fees”. About $2 a month or $1.8 billion a year regardless of ratings.
Stew is just terrific - my favorite person for actual information rather than enemedia talking points/opining. No FOX for me since last November.
Re Newsmax. Greg Kelley and Stinchfield don’t mince words and hold back re the truth.
Laura Ingraham talks too much about her opinions and continually interrupts her. guests. This is egotripping and stupid. Hannity, a really good guy, also does this.
When you have guest speakers on, the rule used to be “Shut up and let them speak. We want to hear what They Have to Say, not an egotistical host’s opinion at that time.
Neil Cavuto still stinks up the Fox airwaves.
Nobody here should support FOX.
Not even Carlson.
Yeah, but the found Gabby ... somewhere under a Rainbow!
It’s amazing - the opportunity they had on a silver platter.
All they had to do is report the truth and pick up 80% market share!
People thirst for truth!
ABCNNBCBS lies about everything, so Fox would have had zero competition.
Even if they had no scruples it could have been hugely profitable! They literally could have had a monopoly on telling the truth!
The mind boggles.
They are not much different than CNN and they still hater them.
So not much we can do unless we have a nationwide strike. Or states like Florida and Texas secede (they better hurry become they will get flooded by immigrants and migrants from blue states).
When they dropped Trish Regan we were pissed off. When they dropped Lou Dobbs we dropped Fox and haven’t looked back since. Not one single broadcast since.
An the money those commentators bring in pays the salaries of people like Juan Williams, Chris Wallace, Paul Ryan, Neal Cavuto and a half dozen more whose names I can't bother to think of right now.
A couple of days after the Presidential election Alex Berenson went on the Tucker Carlson show to talk about a specific topic. Instead he went on a rant about how people should stop wasting their time whining about the election results and Instead concentrate on working with the Biden administration. Not only did Tucker not challenge or interrupt him, a few days later he had him back on as a guest. He stayed on topic but Tucker never asked him if he would like to clarify or modify any of the comments from his last appearance. That was the last time I watched Tucker Carlson or Fox News.
