To follow up: The 10X Health folks look at the five genes at the center of energy production in the human cell. I had 50% mutations in four of the five, that is to say, I inherited one good gene and one “defective” gene from my parents. In principle that means that I would only produce 50% of the amino acids that those genes normally produce. They recommended that I take L-methionine and trimethylglycine (remember those) to augment what my cells were producing, plus D3 and magnesium glycinate.

My blood tests came out fantastic, including a total cholesterol of 175, with HDL 70 (> 39 is good), LDL 92 (< 99 is good), and cholesterol ratio 2.5 (< 3.5 is good). The niacin is doing its job.

I asked Dmitry about the genes. He said the “problematic” genes were involved in alternate energy pathways, which only come into play if niacin is deficient. He didn’t think I needed to do anything about them as long as I kept up with the niacin (and L-glutamine).

Another Dmitry update: He’s still sticking with niacin and glutamine as the niacin protocol, but this week he switched to a different form of glutamine. It’s N-acetyl L-glutamine. This form is more chemically stable so it survives mixing and digestion better, but provides the same stuff to the cell.

PureBulk.com is still the preferred vendor.

My understanding of the importance of glutamine is this: when doing its magic, each niacin molecule combines with a glutamine molecule. Glutamine is pretty common in the cellular soup (or should be), but taking glutamine along with the niacin makes sure that the existing glutamine doesn’t get used up.

Glutamine supplementation is a known cancer preventive because it makes the non-cancer cells work more effectively.

The “final” niacin protocol is now available in combined capsule form from PureBulk:

https://purebulk.com/products/GPR109A?sca_ref=1004090.8JspdBHd04

It contains niacin, n-acetyl l-glutamine, and folic acid. People are reporting good results from it, including a moderated flush. I think that link will automatically provide the 10% DMITRYKATS discount.

Each capsule provides 250 mg of niacin, so do the math to figure out how many capsules to take for your chosen dose of niacin.

The "final" was "not-so-final". Once again Dmitry has modified the niacin protocol. Over the past few weeks he has decided that iron -- in the form of ferric citrate (Swanson preferred) -- is a necessary item. Over the past few days he has just about decided that niacin + ferric citrate is so good that it makes glutamine and folic acid unnecessary. The next version of GPR109A (tentatively called GPR109A+) may contain only niacin and ferric citrate.

... and Dmitry wonders why his niacin recommendations haven't gone viral. I applaud him on his continued efforts to get the niacin protocol just right. But it's hard to explain to niacin normies why it keeps changing.

In case you want to try it, the new protocol is 1.25 g of niacin to one 25 mg (of iron) capsule of the Swanson ferric citrate. That is the correct proportion. You can adjust them up or down as you prefer as long as you keep the ratio.

... and Dmitry wonders why his niacin recommendations haven't gone viral.

Two reasons.
1. He's a dick and is mean online.
B. He keeps changing the formula and it's difficult to keep up.

Is this what we’re looking for?
Swanson Iron Citrate 25 Milligrams

On Amazon Swanson Iron Citrate is $8.74.
On the Swanson site it’s $2.86

I got 2 bottles from Swanson with shipping and tax for $12.13.

In his endless quest for the truth, Dmitry has made another switch in the protocol, now adding iron in the form of ferric citrate specifically. He has concluded that niacin + iron eliminates the need for glutamine and folic acid. With iron the amount of glutamine normally circulating in the body is sufficient, and with iron the gut bacteria will naturally produce sufficient folic acid.

In my opinion, you might as well use up the GPR109A you have, supplementing it with ferric citrate (Swanson’s is the best and remarkably cheap). When you’ve used it up you can switch to PureBulk niacin (less than $10/bottle) along with the iron.

Business-wise, Dmitry has shot himself in the foot, because he was getting modest royalties from the GPR109A product. As you know, he has a history of doing that, by continually modifying the protocol to get it right.

I believe that the niacin has been providing me benefits from the get-go, three years ago. Although I’ve bought and thrown away a lot of different supplements as I’ve followed his experiments, it’s been worth it.

Y’all gotta see this.

MY SOLUTION for THE POISON - SOONER THAN EXPECTED!
Myself, David Nixon, and others wish to reveal the very thing i discovered recently. It has shown incredible results via visual urine analysis and by recovery.
https://managainstthemicrobes.substack.com/p/my-solution-sooner-than-expected

In a nutshell these guys stumbled upon SODIUM CITRATE doing some weird stuff to their microscope slides. They were using the sodium citrate to help with clarity in blood slides. What they found is it killed all the spirochetes on the slide (used too much).

So Karl C decided to drink some. Although he drank more than would be used in food products (see niacin) he noticed remarkable results. He said he felt relieved (of what I do not know) almost immediately. He captured and analyzed his urine after drinking the sodium citrate. After it settled he was amazed.

I think this guy might be on to something.

The sodium citrate experiment is pretty cool. Google shows lots of existing research on the use of sodium citrate to boost the performance of long-distance athletes. It also chelates calcium out of the circulatory system, so I wonder if the white stuff that settles out of the guy’s urine is just calcium.

I suppose it’s just a coincidence that Dmitry settled on ferric citrate to complement niacin. Scratch that! In recent weeks he’s moved on to ferric ammonium citrate instead of ferric citrate. The amount of (ferric ammonium) citrate that Dmitry recommends is in the tens of milligrams, not the multigram doses discussed above, and I think it’s the ferric, not the citrate, that Dmitry considers important.

Sorry, just noticed your question.

Dmitry claims that niacin prevents COVID, cures COVID, remediates long COVID, and heals vaccine injuries. He also thinks regular niacin will permit you to live as long as people did in the Old Testament.

YMMV.
