Forced Covid injections in Washington State, with no allowance for medical excemptions
Jay Inslee ^

Posted on 09/01/2021 6:48:14 PM PDT by algore

A friend in Washington State almost died from anaphylactic shock the last time she had an injection.

Her doctor said she should not take a chance with the covid injection and put that in writing for her.

She has a State Job and cannot afford to lose it.

Her Union seems to be powerless. This is what they said:

Yesterday, the State offered a counterproposal to our demands regarding the impacts of the Governor's Proclamation on Teamsters working in DOC. The proclamation requires all State workers to be fully vaccinated by October 18, 2021.

Our union negotiation committee was able to achieve a modification to the Medical Exemption Form. The modified form will streamline the information needed and limit the State’s access to your medical records.

It will also address situations where someone who currently has COVID or has recently recovered from COVID may need to delay vaccination. The earlier form stipulated that you must see a healthcare provider in Washington state. This stipulation has changed to recognize that we have members who live and seek treatment outside the State of Washington.

The State will make the new form available on IDOC today.

We spent significant time in negotiations on the topic of medical and religious exemptions and what type of accommodations can be made by the State.

We discussed a 30-year member who is not eligible to retire. His doctor told him he could not be vaccinated because of a heart condition. The State's response was, "We don’t have a job for him."

This is not acceptable. Another member of 22-years is allergic to the vaccine. We were told by the State that he would not be accommodated.

Again, this is unacceptable. Yet another member has dedicated 40 years to State service and because of a sincerely held religious belief is unable to receive the vaccine. The member is not eligible to retire, and the State says, "No job for you."

The Governor's vaccine mandate may be legally enforceable, but State employees with legitimate medical and religious exemptions AND who have dedicated their lives to public service deserve more respect.

SHAME ON YOU, DOC and GOVERNOR INSLEE!

At the bargaining table, we are introducing proposals to mitigate the unreasonable position the State is taking.

Another critical issue we are discussing is what staffing levels in our prisons will look like on October 19, 2021.

The State has agreed to provide the Union with a copy of their contingency plan to deal with staffing shortages no later than September 3 on the condition that we do not distribute the details in the interest of staff and public safety.

After we receive a copy of the State's plan, we will update you in a manner that does not compromise your safety.

We are back at the table with the State tomorrow, September 2. I will update you again afterward. In the meantime, please be well and be kind. We will get through this together.

Her union isn’t powerless.

It sold her out.

Those who are not sick cannot, as a matter of medical science, be a “direct threat” to anyone. Those without symptoms are not contagious. The burden of proof is on the employer to prove otherwise—which will be impossible.

The state has already, by its actions since March 2020, conceded that using masks and gloves would be reasonable accommodations in order to reduce or eliminate the threat. It did so by imposing mask and social distancing mandates instead of simply shutting down businesses and quarantining everyone in their homes.

How can any entity force someone to submit to a chemical injection?

Her union ... sold her out"!

It's nothing short of government-sanctioned needle rape.

Hopefully the union rank and file still driving the Kool aid will see this and wise up.

...writes the person in the country afflicted by the Steal. I’m baffled that anyone still believes leftists like this legitimately won anything. (hint: a quick search turns up the ‘miraculous’ late-night win by Inslee)

Tough shit, people. You either voted for this or you didn't do anything to stop it.

My wife and I have both lived in Washington State for our entire lives. This was not always a liberal hell hole and in fact outside of the Seattle area most of the state is still fairly conservative.

We were over run by leftists from other states, mostly California and Oregon, but since marijuana became completely legal here nearly ten years ago we have had leftist freaks flocking from every state of the union. This is not to mention that the imports have made this a sanctuary state. Where we live when you go to Costco around half the people do not even speak English.

And lets not forget voter fraud... Washington State has been far ahead of the curve on that. We switched to vote by mail many years ago. In 2004 when conservative Dino Rossi ran for governor and won, there was a recount... he won again, so there was another recount, ballots for the Democrat Gregoire started coming out of the woodwork everywhere. On the third recount she supposedly won by 124 votes. Rossi ran again 4 years later and won again. This time they had the system down a little better and claimed Gregoire won on the first recount.

We also have a “State Supreme Court” that is made up completely of leftists. When an initiative is passed by an overwhelming majority, if the Democrats don't like it the State Supreme Court invalidates it every time.

You do not have a clue. This same type of thing could happen to the state where you live the same as it happened here, and there is not a damned thing that you could do about it. So shut your big fat trap!

Agreed. Once they ripped off Slade Gorton and got away with it they started stealing what they wanted, and if it took a recount or two through friendly courts, then that’s ok too.

Since we went to all mail it’s been almost like the entrenched libs and commies don’t campaign. The least lefty candidate is ahead on election night and loses later in the week.

If you question it you’re a nut.

All the Washington state employees are Democrats since Democrats only hire politically reliable people. They all have to get the jab, which is a higher risk of killing them than the virus itself.

Democrats.

I'm thinking it's not an altogether bad thing...

Oh, I do have a clue. I lived all my life in California (Central Valley and Bay Area) until about three years ago. We came to Texas, just in time to squeak Cruz past Beto and the 10s of millions spent on his campaign.

Everyone complains on the right, but little is done about it. I'm watching Texas fall into the same, damn traps, particularly with the big cities (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio), that we experienced in the Bay Area.

It's pretty much all over but the shouting. And the shouting has started. God can reboot the planet any time now. I've made my peace.

Make them fire her, at least she can get unemployment. If she quits she can’t.

Contact comservative law groups like ADF, Mountain States Legal Foundation, Liberty Counsel, and see if any have lawyers in her area that will take up the case.

Not quite. Here is Washington state, if a Republican manages to win, the Dems recount until they win. Ask Dino Rossi.

Sorry, you do know exactly what I am talking about. California is the state more blessed with the most natural resources, beauty and the best climate. We used to fly down in our private plane to visit relatives and do all sorts of fun stuff all the time. But it was invaded by liberals and south of the border types who over ran the state. Ten years ago we were still considering moving there for our retirement.

These days we spend almost every night looking at Zillow looking for houses in Red States. We should have one home on the market soon. And then we will be working on the other to get it ready to sell or rent, so that we can hopefully go somewhere else.
