On Afghanistan fiasco, even CNN points the finger straight at Joe Biden

Afghanistan is a disaster of untold dimensions. It's a story so big it's actually drawing mainstream media interest, given the monumental scale of failure from our country's sorry leadership.

But nothing beats this analysis from a CNN contributor who blasts Joe Biden to smithereens in the most damning presentation of facts so far. That CNN would publish this is almost as newsworthy as the unfolding Afghanistan fiasco.

Peter Bergen is an old war correspondent who was onto bin Laden back in the 1990s and actually interviewed the monster. He knows his stuff.

In his analysis, he puts all of the blame squarely on Joe Biden.

His most important points:

One, Biden's sudden pullout from Afghanistan is identical to the sudden U.S. pullout of Iraq in 2011. That was when ISIS began its blitzkreig and almost toppled Baghdad. Who was behind that? Sure enough, Joe Biden who learned literally nothing from that fiasco. As a matter of common sense, President Obama sent the troops back, bailing Biden out. But it made no impression on Biden. He went on to repeat his disastrous mistake in Afghanistan. Bergen writes:

When you’ve lost Peter Bergen, can Anderson Cooper and Brian Seltzer be far behind???

Who elected this guy? Not 82+ Million live, legal voters, I’ll wager!

The media helped put Biden and Harris into office. Now, do they share the responsibility of their deeds?

Who was it that said before the last election that Joe Biden had been wrong on every single US foreign policy issue for the last 40 years...

Apparently, the new US paradigm to warfare, whether Afghanistan or Iraq. is to militarily win a war and achieve our military and national security objective within three months and then spend the next 10 to 20 years losing the war looking for love amongst our “allies” and hostile nations by changing the mission to rebuilding the transgressor nation. The blood and treasure expended winning the war was a tiny fraction of that of staying around to lose it rebuilding over the next decades.
Most often. the best answer, rather than rebuilding, is to leave the rubble there as a stark reminder that transgression has permanent consequences. Perhaps, we should take a clue from Machiavelli, when he advised that, when it comes to the Price’s enemies, it is better for the Prince to be feared than loved...or, at a very minimum, much less costly in blood and treasure.

“...the Taliban has been attacking prisons and releasing their inmates who go on to join the Taliban and fight with them, giving them a big bank of recruits. The government says most are criminals. But that’s significant. As Eric Hoffer wrote in the True Believer, those are precisely the kind of people who seek to erase their ruined lives and become fanatics in charge of a revolutionary movement.”

This is precisely the tactic being used in the United States, the Media-Dem Party with their Soros bought and paid for DA’s and AG’s are turning criminals lose on our society knowing that they will terrorize city after city. These criminals are the footsoldiers of the Media-Dem Party.

At the end of the day he was elected by ACB and Frat Boy whose silence said it’s just ok for some states to run an illegal election to impose an incompetent president on all 50 states.

The rational approach to a existential threat is to destroy the threat. Install the dictator of your choice and support him as needed so long as he does what you tell him. No Muslim nation is a democracy. Democracy and Muslim Theocracy can not coexist.

Get the hell out and repeat if necessary.

Per Machiavelli, “It is better to be feared than loved.”

Fully agree. Remember the Arab Spring narrative the media was selling 10 years ago as if there was a groundswell for democracy in the Middle East then? Complete nonsense. The folks in the street merely supported installing their own tyrant over the current tyrant that was not hostile to the US.

The article reminds us that this isn’t Slow Joe’s first rodeo with respect to pullouts - the Iraq one was bungled badly enough on his watch to give us ISIS.

Absolutely. Women’s rights down the drain. Gay rights down the drain. Religious choice down the drain and so on. The media and Dems are to blame for this. The people of Aphganistan are trapped and have no choice but to comply with the Taliban. We know this now, but in a few years it will be spun to say this is how the people of Aphganistan “choose” and chose to live and in the spirit of diversity we should respect such. And this is why the Left is disgusting.
