OK, this is silly and obviously written by someone who doesn’t who didn’t spend any time on the A/V club in high school in a band or singing in church. Here’s a hint: Mics that are used to capture speaking or singing generally designed to suppress ambient noise. The further the source of noise is from the mic, the less likely the mic is to transfer that sound to the audio processing equipment.

In the Chicago riot police radio of the video posted by logi_cal869 above, the background sound is suppressed but you can still hear it. In the Capitol police video, the background noise is so absent you cant actually hear an echoing effect. Keep in mind that the Capitol police were up close to the supposed rioters.

Gonna have to disagree with you there big guy. He was talking into a police radio microphone. The same type that every in America, and world, talk into 24/7/365. If there’s none in the background you hear it.

They’re nothing more than more advanced walkie talkies of yesteryear.

Even if you have a Harris radio, with the military grade encryption, you’re still hearing everything.

And, in the post 911 world, and the DHS requirement to have interoperability, almost everyone uses Motorola so there are no issues with agencies being able to talk to one another during major incidents.

I know you want to sound smart and hip, but in the end you are just a shill. I’ve had sound suppressing headphones and mics for years, they are never 100% effective, as these recordings are, because there ARE no background sounds.
