Carol would be “cancelled” today. There was a skit where she was being handed dolls that were supposed to be someone’s babies. One of them was black, and Carol made a shocked face.
There are several skits she’d be run out of town for.
A really good sendup of Mission Impossible with Flip Wilson was on recently. Then some of the real (later seasons) MI people showed up at the end which made it funnier.
I like the CB show for the upfront audience interaction with normal people.
