Yes, in Ken Burns “classic series” there’s good and bad on both sides...that’s true. But on the important issue - the issue of the day - the only one that mattered during the civil war - the issue of slavery - ONLY the North had it right.

The "North" had absolutely no intentions of doing anything about slavery when they invaded the South. Indeed, all the Northern congressmen had just voted to pass the "Corwin Amendment" which would have preserved slavery indefinitely. Lincoln supported this effort to pass the Corwin Amendment.
The War has been successfully portrayed as an effort to end slavery, but this is an absolute coverup for it's actual purpose. It's real purpose was to protect the finances of the same greedy corrupt influence peddlers that still run Washington DC today.
The War being about slavery is propaganda. It is an oft repeated lie. The North was more evil than the South because they murdered people to protect their own finances, and then pretended they were killing people for human rights.

Groups of people are not like individuals — there is no intelligence, no decision making. The actions of groups largely represent the collective character of the people that make them up. An awful lot of “us” have no character at all. We are not the same literate, moral people that founded this nation.
I don’t have a crystal ball, but if this nation avoids some form of national crisis it can only be by the grace of God.
There is not going to be another Civil War. Conservatives proved they would not fight when the Left executed a Coup, stole the 2020 election and destroyed the Constitution. It takes two sides fighting to constitute a war. In this case only one side is fighting and that is the Left.
