I'm not trying to reassure you Thalidomide was OK because most countries sold it over the counter. And you know it. You asked how it could have been sold in this country without FDA approval. It wasn't. The FDA forbid it after clinical trials of only 1000 people. As usual, you already knew this because I told you.

Prior to the COVID vaccine argument, the most common criticism of the FDA was that they were far to slow to approve life-saving medications. It took President Trump to advocate and sign right to try legislation to help address this. And it was President Trump that brought us Operation Warp Speed that is in the process of ending this pandemic even as we argue over it. Ironically, had the election not have been stolen, it would be Kamala Harris and her ilk that would be doing the anti-vaxxer shilling.
