It is entirely possible the interaction between the 18yr old and the 14yr old was legal.
Further, the son is yet to appear in court on his charges (6-16-2021). There are some 51yr old women who like it "rough" who also have the "objects", restraints and experience to accommodate the charges. (And it would not be difficult for a competent PI to find them.)

I looked it up. He was in Florida and there's a "close in age" clause in the age of consent law. If they're within 4 years of age then it's legal. Under the law it wasn't rape, statutory rape, or any of the other buzzwords being thrown around.
They still need to find someone else, but the pearl clutchers can drop the statutory rape drama being thrown around.

I’ve seen literally hundreds of posts about this guy. Many negative. Not a single one objecting to any policy position he has. Progressive Democrats couldn’t ask for any more help here than they are already getting.

Whatever happened to “perfect is the enemy of good”? Apparently, that only applies to progressive Democrat supporting RINOs who demand we vote for them regardless of their history.
The guy is almost 70 years old now...it’s NOT like Hunter Biden and his Dad shaking counties down a few years ago... This man got a woman pregnant when he was a teenager. He’s past retirement age now.
Also he wasn’t working with his grown son to assault women...

He probably has all the right conservative positions and viewpoints. However outside of this forum people vote emotionally. The average voter will hear, read, see the spin & that’s how they’ll vote whatever grabs them emotionally. It’s foolish to think otherwise.
If they're within 4 years AND the minor is 16 or 17. The minor girl was 14 so the clause doesn't apply.

No.
My mother and father were hardworking, God-fearing people who lived honorable, productive lives. They didn’t drink or smoke; they lived clean lives.
They raised 5 children. My oldest brother is a successful engineer who raised a doctor, an engineer, and a therapist.
My middle brother is a CPA and, by prudently investing, is worth millions.
My sister is an accomplished professional and senior executive at a PEO. She is raising 2 bright, honorable children.
I currently manage 50M in assets. My oldest is finishing his Bachelor’s and heading off to law school, my middle child wants to be an ASL interpreter and teacher, and my youngest plans to major in computer science.
My second oldest brother has been divorced 3 times, is broke at 60, was living out of his car for a while, and is a recovering alcoholic.
His train-wreck of a life does not resemble my parents in any way. He had the same opportunities, the same loving home, the same encouraging parents, the same wise guidance. He chose poorly, again and again.
I never once blamed my parents for what my brother did. They showed him the way...he took a different path.
Tough call. If he is unable to convince the locals that he is as responsible as his record suggests, he may not be the best candidate to take out Cheney.
