I did not have a mask. When the Walmart Chick asked, I said no thanks - lack of oxygen makes me dizzy and I know you would not want me to pass out and get injured in your store.
She said go right in and enjoy your day. If she had insisted, I would have just left and went to Country Mart.
But that’s the advantage of being retired.
We don’t have a country mart, unfortunately.
Our state has had the silly mask mandate lifted, for months, but we stopped wearing them, just a month, or so, after the mask frenzy of Mar 2021, for the most part.
Our local chain, HEB, had mask monitors, at each door, at first, then relaxed that nonsense, pretty quick.
