Smoke and mirrors. Back in the 2008 campaign, when Obama was making himself look like a nerdy, effeminate policy wonk, lo and behold, a "behind the scenes" story emerge from his time as Illinois State senator about how he nearly came to blows with another senator in order to make him appear as a passionate tough guy.

Now that Biden is making himself look like a clueless, disengaged sock puppet, we get a story leaked from behind the scenes making that makes him look fully engaged and decisive.

The timing, content and intent of this intentional "leak" could not be any more obvious.
