As people reading this already know, there are times when a man needs to take the bull by the horns and show his critics who’s boss, and that is exactly what Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt did earlier this week in the aftermath of an attack from the radicals in the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals group, also known as “PETA.”
Stitt, a Republican, announced back in March that March 22-26 would be “#MeatAllWeek” week after Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, a Democrat, declared March 20th a “MeatOut Day.” Polis’ actions sparked what the New York Times referred to at the time as a “meat war” in the region, with neighboring state leaders and various cattleman’s associations and the like pushing back by promoting meat consumption and showing support for the agriculture community.
An enraged PETA responded by letting Gov. Stitt know that they planned on putting up a billboard near the State Capitol calling him a “meathead.” It went up in April and is still up as of this writing. Here’s what it looks like:

I love vegans. All my food are vegans.
Is that a Holstein? The milk producing cow?
—
LOL! Why yes it is.
How do vegetarians explain why they have the binocular vision and canine teeth of meat-eating predators? Why aren’t they like herbivores with their eyes on the sides of their head and all their teeth for vegetables?
Back about 40 years ago the Red Angus Growers Association tried to promote the breed by sponsoring a beauty contest. No woman entered. They didn’t want to be known as Miss Cow.
At least that is what I read somewhere.
Hi.
I could be wrong now, but there were a number of Miss Holstein contests.
WI comes to mind.

This is the idiot that hoarded Hydroxychloroquine while thousands died in his state, then he tried to get a refund.
His comedy routine is not funny. He should be hanged.

All female cattle produce milk once they’ve been bred and given birth. #;)
In the United States today, there are 6 main breeds of Dairy cattle. The most common dairy breeds are Holstein, Jersey, Brown Swiss, Guernsey and Ayrshire.
The Holstein is the most common because it gives the most milk by volume and has a lower milkfat to milk ratio. Holsteins actually give the lowest quality milk of the major breeds.
Jersey cattle (from the Jersey island of England) produce the smallest amount of milk, but the most milk per pound of body weight. They also produce the highest percentage of butterfat to milk which gives it’s milk a smoother, silkier taste even when the milkfat is removed.
Guernsey cattle (from the island of Guernsey) are next after the Jersey in quality of milk and butterfat to milk ratio.

👍
My uncle was a dairy farmer. When one of his cows ran dry, it went to the butcher shop.
My family often bought part of the cow, and the meat from it was as good as or better than the meat at the local grocery store.
