When words used have meaning: Election Day. It was never election days. There would be no reason to take anything off site if it was an election day.
This isn't rocket science and we have been doing a pretty decent job of it for over 200 years in America. Let's just get back to basics:
- Legal, register voters with ID
- One election day
- Paper ballots (no machines)
- Hand count with observers (no machines)
Vote in private, count in public.
