Kids’ instincts...
John Kennedy was killed 3 weeks before my 9th birthday. They hadn’t even mentioned government or politics in school, I was in 3rd grade. So I woke up that day and didn’t know what a president was, and a few hours later I found out we have one and someone just killed him.
That evening I watched the 5PM news, which I normally didn’t do. I was a kid - forget the news, that’s grown up stuff, when do I get to shoot my bb gun?
They showed LBJ doing his speech at the airport in DC, I knew instantly he was a liar and said so. My father jumped on me because I called the prez of the US a liar, I said I didn’t care who he was, he was a liar.
A few minutes later they showed Lee Harvey Oswald being brought into the Dallas police station. My first impression was huh? This wormy looking little twerp is an evil assassin??? A few seconds later they tried to escort him into a hallway to his left and he struggled with them and said “I’m just a patsy”. I didn’t care what else he may or may not have done or said, when he said that I knew he was telling the truth. I had to go find out what “patsy” meant. (scapegoat, fall guy)
Years later and a lot of research and books read, I’m absolutely positive I was right then, and still am.
LBJ had a long standing reputation as a liar, his nickname in high school was “bull”, short for bullsh!t, because he was well known as the biggest liar in the school. As a politician in DC, he also had a reputation as one of the biggest liars in the place. I always knew he was a liar, never trusted him right up till the day he finally assumed room temperature. Still hated that useless POS the day he died.
Oswald might have shot a police officer in Dallas after Kennedy was shot but now, I don’t think he even shot AT JFK, much less hit him. The Zapruder film shows JFK was hit from the FRONT, not from Oswald’s supposed perch, above and behind. That means at least 2 shooters.
Oswald was checked for gunshot residue, at that time a paraffin test. It showed he had GSR on his hands, but NOT on his right cheek, where it certainly would be if he shot a rifle. So he might have shot a pistol, but not a rifle.
Also, 90 seconds after JFK was shot, the building superintendant was there with a Dallas cop, they found Oswald in the lunch room and questioned him, although briefly. He had half a coke and said he was there on the 2nd floor having lunch during the shooting. He was not nervous and apprehensive, or flushed and sweaty.
How did he shoot JFK, hide the rifle, run down 4 flights of stairs, and finish off lunch and half a coke in 90 seconds, and appear calm and collected, not nervous at all, when questioned by a cop? And have no GSR on his face when checked later? He didn’t wash up, that would have removed it from his hands too.
The whole thing stinks from top to bottom, and I knew it that day. I’ve read several books, including one finally written 30 years later by one of the the doctors who treated JFK and Oswald in the emergency room. He related how LBJ called the hospital while Oswald was in surgery demanding a “deathbed confession”. There was a thug looking guy in the emergency room with a gun in his pocket, probably secret service or FBI, the doctor had to stop and get him a mask and gown. How did LBJ know Oswald was going to die? Nobody knew it yet. He was well on his way, but not hopeless.
This Dr collaborated on the book with a man who had researched the JFK shooting for 30 years, probably had more evidence and information than anyone. He showed him the autopsy photos from Bethesda in Maryland, they were completely different from what he had seen himself the day of the shooting, and he repeatedly stated that he saw two gunshot wounds, both from the front. He knows gunshot wounds, he saw them almost daily in a Dallas ER.
One nicked the right side of JFK’s tie, the other entered just above the right eye and took about 1/3 of his head and brain off. (the shot seen in the Zapruder film) He didn’t see two other entry wounds on his upper back because they never had any reason to turn him over, he was dead before they got that far. They used the neck wound to perform a tracheostomy (sp) to help him breathe. Bethesda had surgically made it into a 3 inch gaping ragged hole that looked something like a dog had ripped his throat out.
There is lots more indicating Oswald may not have shot JFK at all, and probably was part of a huge conspiracy. He was telling the truth, he was just a patsy, and had just realized he had been set up to take the rap for it. I knew it.

I knew LBJ could not be trusted. I knew Oswald was not the assasin. Many years later, I knew hillary clinton was absolutely evil first time I looked at her picture, had no idea who she was. I had heard Bill’s name but had seen neither of them. I knew bill was a liar, I knew bush was a liar, I knew obama was a liar...instantly.
Kids definitely have instincts, fortunately I didn’t train mine to go away like many kids do. They don’t work full time, but quite often, especially with politicians. Yes, Donald Trump was the best choice in 2016. I never had any doubt. I knew it the minute he announced he was running. Yes, biden is one of the most dishonest fools we’ve ever had in DC. Ditto for harris. Both have been liars since long before we ever heard their names. Yes, DeSantis is probably our best bet in 2024 if DJT decides to remain a civilian. I doubt he will, I think there’s a 95% chance he’s running. I also think DeSantis just might be a good choice for his next VP. And yes, DeSantis is mostly honest. I’m sure he might do the political cover your ass thing now and then, but for the most part, I didn’t get the LIAR neck hairs when I first saw him. My antennae stayed quiet. same for Abbott, our governor, my antennae didn’t flinch 1st time I saw him either. Very few politicians can say that. Jim Jordan is another one. He’s one of the good guys. There are a few, but not many...
