Bear in mind, I believe they reopened enrollment at Heathcare.gov, so if he enrolls now, he will have healthcare, free if he needs it, starting in one week.
Make him go there tonight and sign up. It is complicated, and he may have to call for help, but he can also call and ask to get enrolled over the phone, he just has to insist on it.
Drive to his house, and force him to get on the phone.

I went to the ER today for severe camps that started Wednesday. The chest X-ray showed a mass about 1.5 inches in diameter. The doc looked really worried, said based on the shape he was 90% sure it was cancer. After a CT the doc looked a bit relieved, said it could be a necrotic infection, whatever that is. Sounds like something out of a zombie movie. LOL!
The cramps were caused by severe inflammation of the stomach and esophagus (most likely caused by extended use of ibuprofen). Finding the mass on my lung was a complete surprise.
The oncologist is going to call me first thing Monday to schedule a biopsy. Find out what this thing is and what can be done about it.
Again, THANK YOU all so much for the prayers and well wishes. I like to think of myself as a tough guy but every time I read the thread my eyes start leaking.
Been a long day so I’m going to get some sleep.
