I am not sure why PETA should care ?
These are not Tasty Animals.
Since when does peta care if people, epecially military, get a disease from eating an animal? They are happy when that happens.
I see the peta liberals getting into open warfare with the liberals that want all of us eating bugs.
Meanwhile Bill Gates is a savior for getting the world to give up cow and eat bugs with a chaser of snake’s blood.
That’s the first thing I thought. (This has to be the Babylon Bee.)

I at first thought the Bee was the source.
There is a risk of zoonotic illness from eating any animal raw.
However, if you’ve been 9 days without real food, it won’t matter to you. You’ll eat it anyway.
I learned that in SERE school when I ate the eye of a jackrabbit.

But you just KNOW the Bee will have to do something about this.
I went through JEST (Jungle Environment Survival Training), it was both challenging and fun at the same time. All these years late I still remember it like yesterday. It’s one of those things you have to personally experience to fully understand. It’s things like this that drive you to your local VFW and American Legion. It’s stuff like this that no civilian can ever relate to.
BTDT and Monkey on a stick in Thailand was good as heck. Granted I didn’t know until I at 75%!
PETA was at Sugarlands Ranger Station in the Great Smoky Mountains nat’l Park...They were protesting trout fishing...
They were chanting “Can’t you hear them screaming for their life???”
I stopped there on purpose with a trout in my creel...I took out the trout as I walked toward them...They were pointing at me and screaming....
I took a big bite out of the wriggling trout and said I didn’t hear it scream....
The PETA people started screaming and one girl threw up all over herself....
A Ranger I knew came out and saw it was me...he said “Oh...It’s you...” and turned and went back inside...
Ruined the little trout, but it was worth it to me...
That’s why we bring a healthy supply of crayons.

We carried those two rabbits around for a day or so and finally let them go.
Nobody wanted to kill them to eat so we starved for three days. Bunch of pussies.
When we got back to the base, our CO told us the hills were home to hundreds of bunnies released by the trainees. LOL!
Years later, my wife and I raised New Zealand white rabbits in Oregon to sell and butcher to eat. I didn't have any problem killing them then.
besides it sounds like a far healthier and likely tastier (though i am not gonna try it) diet than McD’s
