Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg was seen riding a bike with multiple SUVs in tow on his way to a Cabinet meeting on Thursday in what appears to have been an attempt at an environmentalist photo-op.
The secretary — who has been leading the charge on the Biden administration's efforts to battle climate change — likely wanted to showcase his efforts to arrive at the White House meeting in a climate-friendly way. Only he was caught by CNN reporter DJ Judd unloading the bike from a gas-guzzling SUV just moments before.
"Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg biked to the White House for today's Cabinet Meeting, it would appear," wrote Judd, who covered Buttigieg in Iowa and Georgia during the 2020 Democratic primary, in a caption for the video.
A longer version of the video posted by WFMZ-TV clearly shows security personnel unloading the bike off a bike rack situated on the back of the SUV. After that, the former Democratic presidential candidate mounts the bike and appears to wait until several security agents' SUVs are ready to escort him. Then he takes off with the vehicles following closely behind.

It's petey's husband that objects to her riding a man's style byke, with a pointed seat, and the whole seat disappeared into Mrs. Butt-edge-edge's butt.

From what I’ve been able to d=find, most cabinet secretaries don’t normally rate a security detail. The President can override that and probably did to make these losers feel more important than they actually are.
“Does every cabinet secretary get that much security?”
Naa just the ones who feel it their job to drive you out of your home and cars and into high-rises near ‘mass transit’...and given Democrat control of the Senate (thanks again, Lin Wood), that prospect is getting very, very, close.
So no issue with Pete having extra security (he certainly needs it as conservatives start to wake up a bit regarding who the enemy is), my bigger issue is why conservatives (at least in Georgia, and the one who supported them) are bitching about a Pets’s planned migration of people out of their homes, when 500,000 of them decided to sit out their Senate Runoff and let the Democrats win without even needing to cheat (and with Trump going to Georgia twice to beg people to vote).
In Pete’s defense, he wanted to ride the entire way, but his hemorrhoids were really flaring up.
These lying, manipulating, and totally dishonest democrats staging their “greatness” is about as truthful as ole Joe saying he doesn’t like the smell of children’s shampoo.
Now the Daily Mail (UK) will instead cover Porky Pete dressing up like a sexy stew and promenading down through a crowd of cheering celebutards, including Tom Hanks and the entire Kardashian family.
IMO, Pete himself is a botched attempt at being an American.
