You are right on brother - No one person has to voluntarily contribute to the so-called USA Olympic Team. It is a travesty that our tax dollars are supporting this behavior.
If they truly feel they want to trash the USA, then let them, if they have the balls and/or whatever other genitalia they think they have, just boycott the games.

Agreed. I lost respect for the Olympics many games ago. The athletes turned pro and diva and the money flowed constantly through product endorsements and so forth. I always felt the Olympics was to showcase a well-rounded population which prized physical health and occasionally showcased the best of the well-rounded citizens but these are now spoiled full-time athletes no difference than other pro athletes. Added to that the insane winning margins which reflected more athletic equipment than skill and the idea that an athlete can be the best in the world for years and then have a bad week during the Olympics and he or she is practically ruined.
If you’re really an American, shun them. Tell the neighbors about them. Ridicule them. Boycott their corporate supporters.

Then they should not be on the team. They are supposedly representing the United States. If they can thumb their noses at the flag, they do not belong on the team.
