US Olympic Committee gets woke.
Starting this year US athletes will be allowed to kneel, sit, hold a fist up, turn their back on, etc. when the National Anthem is played at the Olympic trials.

WHAT??? Where’s the sport of Public Team Micturition on the US Flag? Obviously the Olympics are nowhere near woke enough.
Maybe they can get ALL the competing countries to enter that event.
There was actually a version of that with either an ole miss or miss st player doing this and I believe an nfl player.
A while back didn’t some black athletes use the black power fist raised when our National anthem was played?
and a few years ago Congress decided that Olympics prize money would be tax-free to the recipients. I remember the virtuous speeches and comments from politicians as to how it was the proper/just thing to do since these athletes were representing our nation, working hard.

I don’t think such noble thoughts are uppermost in the minds of the competitors. But I guess they talk a good game when they are being interviewed for inclusion on the team.
This is why I NEVER donate money to the US Olympic Committee.
