I caught the chick pox from one of my roommates while in the army and was quarantined for 14 days at the base hospital.

What was really weird was that the skin on the palms of my hands peeled off.

I am sitting here with my jaw in my lap. I was diagnosed with shingles on April 22nd this year. By Mother’s Day my left arm had stopped working and on May 12th I had surgery to remove the c4disc and fuse c4 and c5 vertebrae together. My doctors all said they had never heard of shingles causing back problems, yet here you are!
Can you point me toward more information?

The Shingles Vaccine is what caused the inflammation and the inability to walk or get in or out of a car. It lasted a month.

Was like my entire torso was balancing on a trailer-hitch and the driver couldn't drive a stick shift. God Awful!
