Trump let McConnell off the hook and that tells me he’s still calling the shots.
Trump has not let McConnell off the hook. Don’t forget that scathing letter Trump put out two weeks ago calling the turtle out for blaming him on the Senate floor for the Jan 6 riots.
If people didn’t see sizzle than I don’t know what they were watching. I’m watching the Godfather right now and naming names reminded me of the “You’re going to have to answer for Santino, Carlo” scene. He called out the disloyal rat republicans. He called the Supreme Court cowards. And he practically punched Mitch McConnell in the face. He let you know who the head of the Republican Party is now. He’s pissed and as Bannon rightly calls it this is the wound that will not heal.
Thune isn’t the only one needing replacement.
The ones up in 2022 that must be replaced are Murkowsky, Thune, Hoeven, Blunt, Grassley, Lankford, Lee, Scott and Rubio.
I watched maybe half of it where he listed his incredible accomplishments and took some good digs at Biden.
He was really on top of his game...powerful, succinct, on-message, compelling, PRO-American throughout the entire time I watched. I marvel at watching a true leader in action and shudder with fear for America and our very lives when I think of Chairman Xiden.
Cognitive dissonance? Trump pretty much declared he is in for 2024 run.
That’s the way I felt too. It gave me a sense of hope for the country, even with all it’s being put through. The left has raked Trump over hot coals, and he’s still fighting. Rush kept fighting even in his sickest days. We can’t be quitters and defeatists when so much is on the line.
I’m in SD and was an early Thune supporter. He does need replacing but unfortunately I don’t see a viable primary challenger. The hope of one is the only reason I have not changed my voter registration.
Not to mention CCP M!tech’s war chest of cash that he ALWAYS unleashes for his DS incumbents, whenever a viable candidate/good conservative runs against them 😡
It’s why we can’t get Cornball Cornyn (RINO-TX) voted out.

McConnell called Trump a criminal and said he he was responsible for what happened inside the capitol on January 6th. THAT is a punch in the face. What did Trump say tonight that you equated to anything near what McConnell said about Trump? Sounded pretty tepid to me and almost like McConnell decided what Trump would say and allow him to get away with in that speech. As far as I was concerned he also blew kisses to the Supreme Court. They should have been called out by name and told to resign. The election was stolen and these are the people that were responsible. This was not just another simple political defeat. This was our government being overthrown. I didn’t hear the verbal Onslaught that I was hoping for. Sounded more like a typical rally speech.

If Trump goes around the country LOOKING FOR THE BEST CANDIDATES that’s massive game changer. The current system is political consultants choose who’s easiest to manipulate has a broad bland appeal, and can easily raise large sums of money.
