I cannot think of a better way to ruin a perfectly great sandwich than to put avocado on it.
I tried them, twice. The second time was to see if they were really as bad as I remembered.

Bacon, lettuce (ICEBERG lettuce), and tomato with mayonnaise (Hellman’s, is there any other kind? (NO!)), on (square bread) toast.
PERIOD! Otherwise it is NOT a REAL BLT!
Avocados??? You can’t be series right now.
Why not BLTAA?
Bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and anchovies. /s
