Do you know if she flew direct from San Diego? Do you know which hospital she went to? I have spent almost a month trying to find the most basic things about this and came up empty. That bothers me, how about you and the rest of the FR censors?

Funny! The last time I spoke with Reed was at a group lunch (which I paid for) following Allan Favish's argument at the Supreme Court. This was more than a year after the article I cited. Reed was sharp as a tack.
Without going into another round of back-and-forth, the aircraft was well above engagement altitude, there was no NOTAM (which is a must do when live firing), and the supposed missile launch was no-where near a special use airspace where such firings take place. No MANPAD is capable of such a distance/altitude. Over 600 witnesses were interviewed and all were pretty much the same.
Are you trying to confuse the Peanut Gallery? What does a MANPAD have to do with anything if the aircraft "was well above engagement attitude"? I was an active pilot at the time. (I've flown myself at least several times over the site where TWA800 went down.) I wasn't looking for NOTAMs that day but supposedly Aerospace Daily (08/28/96) said: "FAA sources and the Navy acknowledged yesterday...that the area known as Whiskey 105, or W-105, was activated at the time of the TWA accident... " TWA 800 went down in or near W-105. (I don't remember which.) On charts at that time it said "Operation hazardous to aircraft" may be conducted there up to FL180.
No Navy ships close to the flight (not even under the aircraft), only small boats and those boats could never carry a missile that could reach that high and range.
Why would you say this? It's just flat-out wrong. Navy ships were all over the place at the time and a Navy P-3 surveillance aircraft was flying over the area.
FTR, I obviously know much more about TWA 800. I spoke three times face to face, once for over an hour, to the Eastwind Airlines pilot who was opposite direction traffic staring at TWA 800 when it exploded. (You can hear him on the ATC recording saying, "G-d bless 'em," which he mentioned to me in one of our conversations, I believe before the ATC recording went public.) He even changed his testimony about a missile as a result of our conversation.

I just asked where it was reported. I thought it strange that any news outlet would bother to report such an extraneous detail and figured it must be something you read in the GP comments section again, but wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt. I have no clue whether her flight from San Diego to DC was direct or not, nor do I see that it matters.
It is not in the least odd the hospital where she was pronounced dead has not been named in the press. The press likewise reported others died “in a local hospital” including Brian Sicknick (who did not die by fire extinguisher).
No, it does not bother me not to know whether her flight was direct and not to know the name of the hospital. Neither is important to me.

MANPAD was critical to the allegations. Man Portable Air-Defense System. . .a “heater,” a heat seeking missile. So, the engagement zone for the alleged missile shot was outside it’s engagement zone.

Pleased to hear what. Where did you get your training? Civilian or military? Type certifications? Airline you flew with (we may know some of the same people). What did you fly? I’ve flown the A-10 and F-15E. Flew three times across the pond being “dragged” by a KC-10 tanker. An awfully long and uncomfortable flight. Those ejection seats are not built for comfort.

Yes, but you must keep in mind, a NOTAM is required for that area if any firing is to take place. There was none.
Also, as you probably are aware, an area is activated for any number of reasons and times, could be just an hour or all day, but it is activated. This means there could be someone there sometimes, but at other times, no one is there.
I had a MOA near my base I’d activate it but sometimes didn’t make it there, nonetheless, it remained active.

Up to? The jet supposedly was hit at an altitude much higher than the Warning Zone.
A missile engagement zone is not a simple round circle drawn around the shooter, it is oddly shaped due to aspect, altitude, range, speed, etc.

Thanks for pointing that out. I should have been more clear: small boats that are not capable of carrying heaters. Happened when you are multi-tasking.

Yes, I’m sure you and I would say the same if we saw an aircraft explode.

If he did, he is clearly not a shooter, not someone that understands missiles and such. Not saying he didn’t see an explosion, he likely did, just saying he was not aware of the physical limitations of shooting a missile, especially a heater.

This is the infamous 'boob' video that shows her left breast exposed. The blood is coming from, and has sufficiently pooled from, the left neck notch created under the subclavian artery, above the clavicle, and bordered by the omohyoid -- this notch has a name which escapes me at the moment.
The bullet likely nailed this notch at an upward angle, scraping and opening the subclavian, and lodging and perhaps piercing her windpipe, while destroying the nerves from her larynx and vocal cords. Would explain her muteness (no scream) and yet the gurgling sounds and the complete awareness on her part -- that of a Air Force veteran with combat training -- that she had received a fatal wound.

TWA 800 was at 13,800 feet when it was hit. Normally flights bound for Europe are at 19,000feet when they fly past Southampton. And, in fact, TWA 800 had been cleared to 19,000 but then was told to stay at 13,000 due to crossing traffic inbound to PVD.
FTR, I'm just an inactive, SEL-IFR rated pilot. I have made quite a few trips between CDW and ACK in days gone by, mostly IFR.

We have been raised with too many movies where those shot either die immediately, cleanly, antiseptically - or take a bullet wound just like you'd take a mosquito bite, one after another and then hop up and continue.
When I was shot, the bullet went through the center of my right thigh, shattering the femur and causing immediate and massive tissue loss and bleeding. I remember being surprised - which is funny, when you know that several Marines around me had already been hit and I had seen hundreds of dead and wounded just that week. I was annoyed with myself for just staying there on the ground when I wanted to keep going, retrieving the other wounded, but I couldn't move. I was lucky that a medevac helicopter was nearby and the hospital was close.
Reality is something most haven't seen and it is not good - most bullet wounds to the chest/upper body/armpit area kill people fast. Other wounds, like abdomen and leg wounds can also be very deadly. Head wounds? rarely see anybody live through that, though I've seen a few freaky ones.
The part I hate the most about some of the opinions I see from our fellow conservatives is the wild imaginings about some of the events - like Ashli Babbitt wasn't killed and the whole thing is a "false flag" trick. A young, worthwhile conservative life was lost and we should be mourning her - and making our government hold the murderer responsible.

One man’s opinion is one man’s opinion, and a 60-min interview to me is hardly a credible source, as siting and such is quite the norm to advance an agenda.
Oh, some lady saying she was threatened absent proof. . .can’t make that leap, especially since I’ve been involved in a few mishap investigations and led two.
Not sure where you get the “beloved NTSB” from. I have no love for any bureaucratic agency.
