Hey, if you want to convince people you are a whack job you are doing a great job
Anyone who can deny a pandemic, work hitler into the conversation and impugn an entire profession with absolutely no training in the field is really quite suspect in judgment and opinion
You do realize your entire argument is quite illogical and irrational.
You have swallowed the globalist left's lie like a fat kid eating candy. Either you have been deceived or you are in on the scam. It is disgusting.
Shame on you.
Common Sense is NOT overrated .. and is NOT taught in college/medical schools...
Hey, the stories I could repeat about what literally goes on in the ‘high-brow’ medical community ...but I do not, because it is NOT my nature to talk about people without their consent.

And barely there surveillance has nothing to do with why we’re seeing WuFlu everywhere but no influenza...?
Well why even look at the graphs, then, if those big tall spikes at the holidays don’t mean anything? Don’t forget it was the traveling too, most of it on planes.
Eight million people traveled. Including in cars, which was a small part of it.
It’s very hard to PROVE anything. All we have is our common sense. If we have a firm knowledge of the way the virus behaves, inside and outside the body, and something about human nature, we can pretty much figure it out.
More gross statements without any particular substance
Aw, look they found the one with bells on it! Isn't that adorable?
You are tiresome.

Exactly so I’m not willing to attribute these spikes to a specific cause. It might have been travel. It might have been the weather forcing people indoors. It might have been caused by stricter lockdowns or it might have been caused by loosening lockdowns. It’s too easy to jump to conclusions.
Your not a doctor but you play one on Free Republic.
You are quite full of inaccuracies and assumptions that you gladly broadcast as facts. So be it.
I will pray that you one day attain wisdom, discernment, and enlightenment, and turn away from unkindness and haughtiness.
Blessings on your evening
Where did the flu go Dr. Doom? You should have your faecal encephalopathy looked at.
Well, my goodness. An attempt at humor with your reference. Not a very good attempt.
I trust that you are able to read, and read why I think we see a reduction of influenza. Having tested patients with respiratory infections all winter, Influenza tests are indeed coming back negative. I have pointed out why above.
As such, I am sure you are educated enough to go have a read, and then respond. It is interesting that you throw out insults without having prepared when the answer has already been given. Please go read the reason why influenza is not as present this year, and then if you are man / woman enough to respond to the discussion in a pertinent way offering rational conclusions, I would indeed be delighted to have conversation.
If not, please attempt to cure your cranial-rectal inversion so that you may actually see where you are going.
Short of something beside an insult...any further responses would simply be a waste of my time. I will not argue with the uninformed...for you simply reduce others to your level then defeat them with your experience.
Blessings on your evening.
Ahh, the non-apology apology. You think you are quite clever dont you?

Yes, it is “very hard to PROVE anything.” Encountered some interesting data just today. From Newsmax: “As of Monday afternoon, 26.5 million Americans had received one or both doses of the current vaccines, according to data gathered by the Bloomberg Vaccine Tracker. Since the first U.S. patient tested positive outside of Seattle a year ago, 26.2 million people in the country have tested positive for the disease,...”
Now, it’s commonly reported that 30 - 40% of all those infected by the coronavirus are asymptomatic. If that’s the case then the 26.2M infections is more like 43.6M if the asymptomatics are included. That means the total with some level of immunity either from the vaccine or from the infection is around 70M. That might explain why the numbers are dropping which makes as much, if not more, sense as blaming it on Christmas.
True, it may take upwards of 70-80% (depending upon how Fauci feels today) to reach full herd immunity. But, full head immunity isn’t necessary to begin to slow the virus.
I think there was a later report that all those supposedly asymptomatic cases were a lot fewer than it was originally thought.
I don’t see any other way to explain those spikes, occurring right at the holidays. But have it your way. Other than testing everyone before and after, which is a ludicrous, impossible idea, there is no scientific PROOF.
I would be more concerned with what is holding up the vaccinations right now. I suspect people are somehow pulling them out of the system for their family and friends, or outright selling them. There’s no way 20 million doses just disappear. We live in a crooked, corrupt society. Or else China is calling the shots (pun intended).
I am sure masks also cut down cold infections as well. Thus based upon the principle that whatever reduces infections is worth it, then masks can be mandated every year. But dealing with the actual reason that so many die of Covid - that of America being in the worst health (70% Americans overweight, 42% obese; 100 million w/ high blood pressure; 23 mil w/ type 2 diabetes) ever relative to our standard of living - is hardly made a priority. Stay sheltered and if you go out then you cannot breath or interact socially normally. I am almost 69 and was active and without a mask in this crowded city from Spring to Fall - thank God - until it became required. No one i interacted with got Covid, and I must likely had it last Feb. and with mild symptoms.
I simply answered a question as to why flu infections are down. I am not for universal mandatory masking.
