I learned all I needed to learn about Ted in 2016.

I was initially a Cruz supporter but began to sour on him when he blamed Antifa-generated violence at one of Trump's rallies on Trump. I wound up voting for Trump in the primary.

When Cruz failed to endorse Trump during his address to the Republican National Convention, I concluded that he was still, to use a college football analogy, Division 1AA and not ready to play at the Division 1A level. And it's obvious that Cruz is still Division 1AA.

I think that’s a good way to put it.

I remember him blaming Trump for some things and it didn’t
sit well with me. If I can see a glimmer of truth in it,
I’ll at least understand, but there wasn’t a glimmer of
truth in it, and that reflects back on Ted, not Trump.

It wreaks of dirty tricks and ineptitude, and as you put it
1AA.
