Proposed actions by President Biden to place new restriction on the energy industry could cost upwards of one million jobs in the sector.
Frank Macchiarola, senior vice president of Policy, Economics and Regulatory Affairs at the American Petroleum Institute (API), said in an interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Saturday with host Matt Boyle that if President Joe Biden puts a permanent ban on oil and gas development on federal waters and land, it could cost 1 million American jobs.

Fine by me as far as personal use - I filled up in July and still have better than 1/2 tank remaining; I got retired so very little driving. I know food prices will go up but losing some weight would be a benefit.
Just speculating, but I wonder if Biden won’t be “early retired” after he does the most egregious commie stuff - give him his 100 days and let him declare victory, then install Harris. She won’t reverse course on anything substantial but she can claim plausible deniability saying crap like “Well, maybe Joe went a little too far” and try to make deals.
They aren’t dumb, they know this crap is highly unpopular and they’re likely to lose the House, so there’s got to be a reason and I think it’s to use Sleepy Joe to appease the far left and then put Harris in as the “good cop”. Heaven forbid...
