The point being, no country is going to survive a nuclear war, whether they started it or responded to other countries nuking them.
Hopefully, fewer crazy people like Kim will acquire nuclear weapons.
As it stands now, any two bit terrorist country like Iran with enough determination can develop their own nuclear arsenal. That is one of the reasons Elon Must is determined to make man a multi planetary spices...just in case we decide to blow ourselves to kingdom come.

One might be able to survive a nuclear war, but not all the nuclear power plants melting down. That would be a real killer and I doubt very many in the US would survive that.
